Deceptive tricks
« on: January 18, 2011, 06:02:34 PM »
Got any tricks in videos or photos that initially tricked you? Maybe it was a different trick than you thought or maybe it was done by someone else. Here are some mediocre ones I came up with quickly for the sake of getting the thread started; maybe more when I can think of them.

2:13: For the longest time I thought it was a single 360 flip, not a double.

2:46: I have seen this part, literally, hundreds of times and did not notice he tailslides the rear bumper until probably 5 or 6 years after my initial viewing.

Eh, this one's not too good, but I could have sworn the very first trick was a frontside flip, not heel, for months.

I noticed one day.

I've seen A Happy Medium quite a few times, and always thought that Jeff Stevens did a bs feeble  - drop off - land in a manual. But in fact was a bs feeble to 50-50 to manual.

Ronnie Creager in general still confuses me in terms of his stance.
