Does anyone still skate Black Panther bearings? How do they stack up with other bearing companies out there? Abec 7 in particular.

anything i can find really. I think i have 8 different brands of bearings in my current setup. After skating a while i realized they all roll and theres not much difference between bearings. I've had reds break in a week and i've had cheap $10 bearings last months.

They'd have to be half descent, after all it's what they specialise in. They've been around for quite a while, too, so they must be doing something right.

This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Only bearings that ever let me down were Shorty's Quickies, way back. Skating Swiss/Reds for years now without incident.

Diamond bearings suck balls. I had the Abec 5 with in 2 hours 3 of them busted. I had some Modus bearings and the lasted for 6 months. Just can't find them in Cali at all. I got them off Dennis I think.

okay... ive had my shake junt bearings for over a year and theyre running smoothly and nice n fast even dirt and mud doesnt slow them down...

i was changing my wheels yesterday when i noticed that about half of the bearings are actually broken, like the crown that holds the ball bearings has completley snapped, put them in the new wheels and they still work perfectly. sooo even when theyre broken they run faster than my bones reds, wonder if theyll ever truly break

If the ball retainers are broken, the bearings can't "work" like they're supposed to. Just because they fill space in your wheel and still allow the wheel to spin doesn't mean doesn't mean they "work perfectly".

What you're saying reminds me of the little kids I see skating around on setups that are completely jacked. Like a kid that rides a deck for months until it's a mushy, flimsy POS with stress cracks coming through the top of the board and a squared off nose and tail. Then they say, "Brand X decks are the best, I've been riding mine for 8 months and it still has pop and it never snapped!"

I'm sure they'll completely fall apart of lock up eventually, only a matter of time.

yeah i see what your saying, my point was simply that theyre cheap bearings that ive had for ages and are broken but still work better than my bones reds which arent broken
