hey there, slap sneakerheads, i'm having an argument with my boss about which colorway of the koston 2 came out first.
i believe it was the black/red/silver colorway that was in the first ad, where he does that fakie 5o revert down a rail.
my boss swears it was the grey/gold one.

please help me out.

they were so fresh back then, but so fucking expensive, like 140 euros (almost 200 dollars) impossible to afford back thn, since i was 15 when they got released. i had a few pairs later though.

hey manolo, by the way, the footage you were asking for is on a external hard drive, that doesn't work anymore, the power connction is fucked, but i'm gonna get it fixed in the next couple weeks.
i also have dozens of tapes lying around, which i never even captured, problem is, i sold all my mini dv camcorders, to buy a 7D, so i can't really capture anything at the moment...
but as far as i remember, they're is a lot of great unseen footage on them, like some enrique lorezo lines at the usc ledges and lockwood, vancouver slam city jam 1999, harold hunter in austria '99 and lots of random people, who's names i can't recall.
and, that's the bad part about it, endless bullshit, like tvshows filmed off the sreen with the fisheye on, terrible....
i don't know if i will have enough time to look through all the tapes, since there are like 50 and i'm working on other projects right now, but i'll let you know, if that changes.

I would hope Koston would be able to have a shoe like this now since he's on Nike, even if they were chillers like how Huf had the Runners (on DVS) or P.Rod had the Free Rods. 

Probably not going to happen though since it would make too much sense.

You're right, black/red came out first for sure. Now had your boss said grey/neon green, I'd say they came out at the same time as the black/red.

Those were the first two colorways for sure. But I believe the black/red ones dropped a month before.
