Hi,

I'm going with a bunch of buddies to skate in Philly in June. Anyone from Philly on here that feels like skating with a bunch dudes from Toronto?

Oh and if you ever need someone to show you around Toronto I know a bunch of good spots.

heh.  i made that last video a few years ago and i honestly haven't been back there in a long time.  i don't think i really knew the spot well enough to make a video about it.

anyone skate in east falls or manayunk?

never explored east falls, but ive been through manayunk a few times. its definitely a fun place to skate. i really cant give you anything specific, sorry, but plenty of hills to bomb and little spots here and there. just like philly, id say just park and explore. and get pulled pork and mac and cheese at tommy gunns bbq.

I'm a veggie, but I've had fries and iced tea there before.   In Manayunk there's a cool pole jam that you can turn in the ground to get different angles of approach.  Mifflin ledge in East Falls is a nice place to go.

City Hall is going to be renovated in the near future, or there are plans to do so at least.  The new design is going to do away with the stairs and benches.  I don't know what will be left to skate in the plaza.

It's supposed to open up city hall more and make the plaza a central hub for septa.  The fountains are actually supposed to tell you when the subway subway cars are coming.

I'm heading out to philly this week and I really want to skate that five block bleacher thing with the banks next to it.  I've already skated the three block one, which is ready sick, but the other one looks way better.

That thing is about 45 min from center city, deep in the Northeast.  It's fun, but might not be as awesome as your mental image (that was my experience at least).

hazard and trenton is one of the street corners of pops.  it's fun, but it gets packed easily.

8th and poplar is a nice spot near by.  it's by a play ground and a basketball court underneath a bridge.

Heading to Philadelphia today (thursday) with my friends band. Tomorrow I'll be around in the daytime/evening with no plans. Anyone wants to skate or drink with a 31 year old dude from New York then hit me up.

My homies band are opening for Agnostic Front tonight, so that should be a fun time in Philly
