Sony vx1000 appreciation!
« on: February 16, 2011, 10:27:09 PM »
No other camera comes close to the vx1000. HD is overrated. Standard definition is where its at! Best colors, best audio, best camera for skating.

HD is okay as long it's not 16:9.
Still, VX1000 is the best.

They are the best!  Although if you are considering buying one be prepared for repair costs.  These things are super old, so stuff breaks often on them, but can be fixed usually.

I had a vx2100 worst choice ever, traded it for cash and vx1000 and then I bought an mk1. I loved it when I filmed, but now it just sits in my desk collecting dust.

whaaaat i been filming with vx2k1 and mkII for years and i love it. i edited all my colors in post anyway so i never saw the big deal about the vx1 especially with its shitty night filming haha, im just biased though the 2k1 is my first love. upgraded to a t2i and just got my fisheye for it in the mail today :)

i came up through the "niggas don't skate days"

I thought the audio was awful, colors aren't too bad on them though.

I can always tell what clips in skate videos are filmed with a vx1. theres something about the sharpness and colors that makes it look perfect, at least in the daytime
