I'm almost positive someone is going to say something about this in relation to Pappalardo.

Oops, already happened.

all i need to know is where he got the granite. it looks like the pieces he used got progressively thinner, but i guess it makes it more portable.

please someone let me know if any home depots or places like that have granite like that

a big difference between some shitty stool (pun not intended) and agreat ledge to skate.       the only thing you can do on those stools he makes is sit there and wonder how on earth you still have any sponsors and how rick, mike and smyth still let you have a pro model.

that ledge looks awesome
where is home?

that was neat, the ledge looked amazing, looked like he put some work into that, then he just goes and destroys it.

i remember hearing in an interview with him that it's indeed granite. don't know how thick though, but cant be much more than 1/2 inch.

if he told us how to make them, then he couldn't sell the crap out of them, if he hasn't already.

Its the name of a tight band + Cards says it so you sir are in the wrong.
That ledge looks super fun with the little clinks in between the granite slabs, makes it like marble pool coping!

why would you have a perfect ledge made of 5 separate pieces on top, when you've got a van? shit will chuck fast.

From Crailtap

Q & A Section
From Daniel Wheatley,
Q: Busenitz, what kind of stone is your portable bench made out of, and how much did it cost? I'm tryin' to hook up a local ledge spot and am sick of the DIY ledges with angle iron.

A: The bench is made out of a plywood frame with 3/8 thick granite tile glued on it. The granite cost me 9 dollars per square foot. Don't get marble because it's too soft and it will stick when you try to grind it. I've used basalt before and it works good too and is cheaper than granite. Since this is all natural stone it's never exactly the same. Buy a sample tile and see how it grinds before you buy the rest of it. When you're done building the ledge get a stone file and round the edge to help break it in and keep it from chipping. Good luck. - Dennis Busenitz
