Denver/Boulder

I couldn't find a thread pertaining to the locations/attractions of Denver within the first 3 pages so I started a new one. 

I'm heading out to Denver for about a week within the next month or so, and was wondering where are good shops, restaurants, spots, parks etc. located.  I've been out to the Denver park once when I was a kid, but never got to really mesh with the city, so what are the skate tourist things to do out there?  I'm also inquiring about Boulder because I will more than likely make several trips up there too.

Well, I would start out with letting you know to get in contact with Poocrusher if you're interested in anything Boulder related.  His shop is the most legit shop in that area, and their phone number is 303-443-1245.  Ask for Sam.  Meta is the shit.

For Denver:
My biased opinion says that the best skateshop in Denver is The Denver Shop.  www.thedenvershop.com or 303-733-4035.  Talk to those dudes and tell them Murphy told you to hit them up.
Lots of good restaurants, if you told me what you were interested in more specifically I could guide you (indian, mexican, vegetarian, etc.)
There are a lot of great parks in the metro area, and a huge skatepark right downtown, the Denver skatepark.  It's the red one that looks like mars, located on i-25 and 20th.  If you're heading to Boulder, check out the new Broomfield park and Layfayette park on your way up there.

Hey thanks a lot man, I'm not super familiar with Colorado so an information helps.
Does downtown Denver, where the park is, have a decent amount of spots within that area?

Yeah, it has a decent amount if you're just trying to cruise around the downtown area.  But if you're trying to film and skate a bunch of street, you pretty much need a car.
