my mind is blown from both this trick and some of these responses to it.
Imagine being so good that people aren't really that surprised when you do a 30 stair feeble.
people who don't skate and/or are regular aren't easily surprised by impressive skateboarding maneuvers. funny how people took the time to say that they weren't surprised, as if that makes them better than everyone else who appreciates the fact that
this is a steep 28 stair handrail with a kink at the bottom (formatting necessary). i'm not saying i wouldn't have thought he had it in him to pull this trick, but anyone who's ever skated even a moderately steep handrail knows that you don't just chill on that shit like he was doing on that curved rail, and the longer the rail, the more speed you have coming off from it, so the fact that there's a kink at the bottom (and that wall) makes this so far ahead of any of the rail tricks i've seen from him.
here's a visual aid for you nonskaters/retards: 2:10
kinks at the bottom of rails can straight up snap a lipslide on a mellow ~10 stair rail like this one, just from the speed of the slide, so that can sort of give you an idea of how fast someone grinding a steep 28 stair rail will be going when they reach the end (where they have to deal with a kink). hatchell is amazing, and i wouldn't be surprised (lol) if he didn't take all that long to land this, but to just write off this trick by saying you aren't surprised is probably the dumbest shit i've seen on slap that wasn't intentionally stupid. and before you try to question why i'm not skating instead of writing dissertations on slap, i'm in class.
