Skating ditches

There is a spot that always pass by and looks like a skatable ditch but the problem is that there is always out flow of water. Is it reasonable to put skids or plywood on the outflow of water to allow me to skate over and skate the ditch.

I would say try to direct the flow to the best of your ability to an area that would least hinder your skating. You may want to check the spot if it hasn't rained in a while and when it's hot as hell. It might be pretty dry at that point. Your idea seems pretty good, just seems like there would be a lack of runup.
