Have you ever noticed that in movies, when they have secret meet-ups or people are hiding out they often go to a place that is off the beaten path but more obvious? I think in Mission Impossible they have to hide out from the cops so they park on the river bank in the middle of a major city in a place where cars are not allowed.

In Star Trek First Contact they say that in the future all money is wiped out and everybody works for science or whatever. How the fuck did they pull that off?

Depends. Most people that I know write like how you see this post. I never use cursive, don't like it even though it makes writing faster.

it's a generational thing.

i was taught to write in cursive during elementary school, about 21 years ago. i've got cousins in school now and they can't conceive how to write in cursive.

i write in a scribbled mix. i don't know if it's an american thing though. my girl is from bogota colombia and has more fucked non cursive writing than me...

here, we were taught cursive in primary school. i remember the teachers saying shit like "when you get to highschool and have to do exams, your exam wont even be marked if its not in cursive" i called bullshit on that even as a naive little 9 year old.

its a waste of time. students should learn to write then learn to type instead of cursive. it'll be a hell of a lot more useful that some scribble only you can read. if anything cursive did more damage to my handwriting than help it. i was going all right then learning cursive fucked that up.

Same deal, in elementary school we had weekly test for writing in cursive saying that it would be needed in high school & later on in life.  I blew it off and to be honest now all I really remember is how to write my name and then random letters. My mom works at an elementary school and she told me they start computer typing at first grade and that cursive isnt even in the curriculum.  Another reason why we suck.

I am sure this has been answered or its a dumb question to ask but- If some one is born bilingual what language do they think in?

money just went away because they eliminated scarcity. it seems kind of silly to pay for a sandwich when you've got a machine at home that will make it for you. at least i think that's how they explain it.

Did Def Leppard choose their name because  the words have sort of the same length as in Led Zeppelin?
Did they think "Led Zeppelin is such a cool name, I wish we could come up with something like that!"

Led Zeppelin is the sickest band ever. Def Leppard on the other hand is as much of a rock band as jereme rogers is a poet and a rapper

Otis Shredding posting his new ice skates got me to thinking. If you could cut someone's throat with roller blades, would that make them some what acceptable. I'm kind of torn.

I think handwriting is kinda going out the window across the entire developed world.  I was taught cursive when I was a little guy too, and told how important it was.  And it must have been before our era, when all important legal documents and correspondence was hand written.  But I don't think too many people in the 80s and 90s had any idea how completely computers were gonna take over the world.  Typing is by far the more important skill.

I actually find this a problem for me now that I'm back in University.  I wrote a final yesterday that was essentially three essay questions.  And I don't think I did too hot.  I actually find that I can express my thoughts in written form significantly better through the medium of a keyboard than with a pen and paper.  I can't hand write nearly as fast as I can type, so I can't keep up with my own thoughts and can't get into the flow of writing.  I wonder how long it will be before exams start happening on computers?

One thing I've notice is my spelling when I hand write things. I can't spell any more, I got so used to word or the google toolbar fixing any spelling mistakes.

And the majority of my exams have been online. The last exam on paper for college was in my English literature class which was about 3 years ago.

After I was in the Army I started to write block letters only, or REAL LIFE CAPS LOCK.
I write just as fast, but even retards can read it, so it's a win-win.

What jobs are most common in movies/television?

To me, it seems like architects are way over represented if the characters profession is unrelated to the story/plot.

I am well aware of how much they suck, I just wondered about the thought process of that horrible name as it is visually sort of similar.

You can get diagnosed with Dysgraphia and then they have to give you a computer to take your exams.  I thought it was fake but my brother in law has it and takes all his exams separately.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dysgraphia

I pretty much dropped handwriting altogether until i went to architecture/design school and now write in all caps somewhat designer lettering because we had to learn.  it took a lot of practice but was worth it.

It depends. Is the guy cumming fucking another guy? Because if so, yeah probably.

Corollary to that question--in gay porn, is it over when both guys cum or just when one guy does? Is there a special type of gay porn where the guys cum at the same time?
