remember in that kerouac book there was a hobo in a boxcar doing a headstand and it was some homeopathic wellness program? is there any truth to that? do upside down people live longer? is 2 minute headstand long enough to reap the rewards?

No. Race itself is a socially constructed concept.

I think it's more like the opposite kind of deal. If the pressure points that control every single aspect of your body health are indeed located on your soles, then you absolutely must avoid planting your feet on the ground, at least, if you want to be healthy. Or win the Battle of the Berrics.

Kerouac had circulation problems in his feet from taking too much benzedrine or something. it feels good to reverse the blood flow, dont know if it really does anything else.

What's the weirdest, custom board that some pro skates? I feel as if someone is riding something like a 8.5" * 31" with a 12.5" wheelbase.

I think the reason why people associate the letter S with the number 5 isn't exactly because they look similar but because the motion of writing them is almost identical.
...which is pretty wild if it's true, if muscle memory really does influence thought to that extent.

It seems you've had to deal with AZERTY keyboards recently.

Something I saw a while ago, back when my personal "posting around the clock" rule couldn't be in effect. A blind couple, with canes and sunglasses, guiding each other around. How does that even work? It sounds like something out of the Bible. I'd guess that the man had more vision than the woman, but they were both wearing sunglasses. The guy was way more assertive with his cane, waving the tip around like an earthquake detector, while the woman just waved hers around gently to check for anything the dude might have missed.

i saw some seeing eye humans and even a cop being led around a few months back, prolly coinciding w/ this date. the real blind blended in w/ the fake 'everyone's blind on st patrick's day' types for world sight day. i wondered about it too but we both prolly didn't realize it was croctober 13th.

Is dudes painting their fingernails a thing on the west coast?  I know Dylan made it kind of popular, but I can't see anyone I know doing it.

I think people who claim that mint chocolate chip is their favorite ice cream just like saying the words "mint chocolate chip." It sounds fancy, sure, but it's not even close to being a top tier ice cream. People who like it are lying, but I have no way to prove it.

Think how funny it would be to say to whoever was the first person to ollie the Santa Monica triple set decades ago that one day someone will do a switch 360 double flip down the same set. I think at that time you'd truly believe that was impossible, right? Skating progression is wild.

My friend is deaf and it occurred to me that although he is hard of hearing, he is a much better listener than anyone I know. He's always paying his undivided attention to make out what you are saying and processes it completely
