Didn't see a thread about this already..  But I'm going to be there for a couple days next week so I was wondering where "Black Box" was or where some other cool spots like that are..

It's on Baker and Piedmont. If you're looking for "famous" spots in the city you can just cruise up and down Peachtree and see a lot of them, really fun cruise too. Watch out for the segway cops.

It's behind Bellsouth and it kind of shtanks, it's on Peachtree and North Ave. If you take the Marta around the north/south lines for the first few stops you can usually find some cool stuff.

I think it's closer to the side of campus near Centennial park.

Also, I hope you guys are bringing shorts.

huh - always thought that rail was in athens for some reason..

check out the new 4th ward park, the Atnalta foundation ( if the public is still welcome? ), and definitely cruise down peachtree from around baker st...    brown marble ledges at baker/peachtree..   bomb the hill from peachtree down baker to black box ledges..   over one street south from there next to trader vicks is the piss ledge/hubba..    peachtree marta is fun to hit and theres stuff aound woodruff park..  hit up stratosphere or talk to someone at the 4th ward park for more spots

you should hit up atnalta foundation on north ave. Its a gated off DIY spot. But if its somewhere there they'll let you in and definitely fill you in on the spots. and its around the corner from the new city park if you wanna skate some tranny.

its usually gonna be around 90 degress till the sun goes down and no or very wind...so stale stank air...so a water bottle is wise. since stores are widespread and expensive in the city....

free parking is virtually none existent if your gonna be in the city. so try to avoid driving from place to place if possible....

1st is at a rec center at hammond dr and glenridge dr. in sandy springs..  theres basketball courts and some baseball fields around it... oh and that rail is fucking huge. prepare to get hurt

2nd is off 14th street -- look behind Ark animal hospital ( coincidentally where i take my pets! ) -- yer gonna want to hit this one after business hours i believe - but its a cool spot.. harder than it looks

3rd one is gone - that was the avondale mall rail..  pretty sure they tore the whole place down.

The mall at Piedmont and North, or Ponce is gone right?  It had the big two story globe, a rail and some water gaps.  Concrete benches too.

I used to live by that thing.  Had some good fun there.
I'm posting from my blackberry wtf?!?!?
