saying that you dont respect a pro cause they didn't have a skateboard with them when you saw them is like hearing a kid upset that Santa is at more than one mall.

Pops was never 'one of the greats'.

Unless the list of greats runs in the hundreds and includes people like Israel Forbes.

Pops part in the Choco video will probably look a lot like Scott Johnstons part in Fully Flared.
If it's anything more than that, well it still probably won't be as good as that video of Cards riding his bike two pages back.
I'm still going to watch it either way.

lol..  there are at least 10 other names that would go on that list above pops. that being said - im fully backing the dude.. he just needs to skate more and it will all come back. you can tell he has been focused on the wood working stuff and that he is a little off - but i dont think he suddenly lost all his skill.. just a little rusty maybe

talk about beating a dead horse then fucking its carcass then complaining when
said carcass doesn't give you head after you nut.
I mean, if the creator of the universe is truly concerned with where you put your penis, then surely he has an opinion on who had the best part in Fully Flared.

i prefer street skating too, kna mean? but you should take this shit to open mic night with Mike v son.

I liked it, and keep your jockified babylon to yourself and chase the "RADiKal Trixxzzz" dragon down on abc or fox televising street league, cause I hope to see more videos like it in the future.
When I go out skating late at night, I'm not exactly kickflipping my dick off either, nor would I take more than 2 tries at anything before moving on and skating to the next spot. This was a good, unfiltered, (and im gonna cringe a little bit with this last one...) and raw depiction of what skateboarding means to someone like me, and what an average night rolling around the neighborhood feels like.
I'm not bringing a generator along with me.
No I don't wanna watch the shot we just got.
Fuck a car, cellphone, or anything in my pockets 'sept a sweaty dollar for a bottle of water.
Lets go see whats over there.
And then take a different way back.

when it comes to a relaxed vibe i'd rather watch louie barletta skate. he's just having fun with no pretention to it. with pappalardo it just looks painful and i get this vibe that he's trying to act like he's above doing tech tricks. i used to love pops. now its kinda hard to.

Tom Asta is the new Pappalardo, though he's not as good at using woodglue.

Is there a constant need to always live up to expectations? Let pops skate because this is no video part for anything, he is just skating parts of new york for the sake of just skating. Same thing went for Petersen and Supa's "Off the Grid" segment, they are just exploring parts of a city for the sake of skating places that they don't intend to skate. Too many expectations?
