so, I just wanted to say something, yet I in no way want to appear that I think all is alright with Koston.

So, I got introduced to him a few weeks ago at the opening of the Berrics outdoor plaza (westchester?) whatever. Anyway, the guy was super nice and we just kinda talked about what ever. Not that normal meet a pro and he gives you a minute or two, like we were talking about all sorts of shit, his kid, the park, basketball, ect. At one point I was about to walk away as not to be that guy, but he just kept talking to me. This is after this thread had started too, when my opinion of him had slipped quite a bit. I have to say my interaction with him and all the things I've seen from his twitter/instagram are quite contradictory. I'm left kinda confused.

the instagram/twitter stuff is when he has a computer screen and the internet between himself and the person he is addressing - in person when dealing with a stranger i would only imagine he is a nice guy and seems super cool. koston cant handle himself as far as social media goes -- i have seen him delete about 10 instagram/twitter posts since this thread started. i think he might have a problem

to alex's defense, i stopped watching the berrics a long time ago. it's banal. + there was an actual part where berra said that him and koston were into advertising (i think it was that video on geoadvertising). what it means in short term is "more money from more places". pros aren't pros anymore. most of them are just models. they're modeling one thing or another and alex let his humanity/honesty slip a bit (which isn't supposed to be a bad thing). the expectations are unreal and need to change so that pros can work on their skateboarding career itself and not inane bullshit (like his personal preferences or what he wears).
