Ricta Wheels
« on: August 06, 2011, 12:51:34 PM »
I've been thinking about buying some Rictas but I don't know anyone who's ever had any.  I like the idea of a completely white wheel, but is their quality up to par?
it's not fantasizing if it really happened.  your gay as fuck for even thinkin about them havin sex u fagit

Clouds are the shit. Soft as it comes, yet insanely, insanely durable which definitely says a thing or two about their formula. I've been skating mine for a couple months now over the absolute grossest of terrain and other than discoloring they look like new. Can't speak for the rest of their line..

I used to only skate Rictas. I really liked them, especially the ones with the hollow core. But if you're gonna get new wheels, pick up a set of sml. wheels. They're awesome.

The super crystals suck, too slippery and flatspot easily. Naturals and core wheel are pretty good.

I'm riding the same set of super crystals for 13 months (53mm to 47-48mm now)
No flat spots

naturals are super good. i didnt manage to flat spot them and i did put a flat spot in my bones stf( though it rolled out after a few skates). But they go very yellow quite quick. i would buy them again.

The streetburners are really good wheels that'll last quite long, but when it comes to the classics its hit or miss. The last set of wheels i had in the classic formula went from 53 to like 48-49mm in a little less than a month and are all super coned out now.

But as for Rictas, I've had a set of the naturals before, and I remember them performing and lasting quite well. If I had to skate another set of Rictas I wouldn't mind at all. Not sure about those super crystal wheels though or any of the other ones...

Rictas are a piece of shit. Bought some a couple years ago and the core slipped out. Never would buy them again. Just get some bones, or sml wheels.

sml wheels are poorly represented in Europe. And they don't ship there from their web shop. So I can't back them at all.

You hear that cliff? Fix that shit!

got my irst pair o rictas a few weeks ago, pure black naturals, hey are fucking fantastic, tho because of powerslides ion the brand new park cement there appears to be some flat spotage going on, and everyone ive talked to that has had or does have Bones STF's etc  have said theyve flatspotted relatively easily
I'm going to argue that Placebo owes their entire career to a Canadian dude's skate video part. Appleyard should be getting royalties for this shit.
