Epsom Salts Ice Bath Duo?

If I dissolve and soak in epsom salts and then immediately after fill the (already epsom salts mixed water) with ice cubes, will the effect counter act itself? Heat and epsom salts relax your muscles while ice baths contract them... Basically if I do these at the same time will they be useless?
