Tomorrow is going to be one of the most fucked up days ever.  Training camps begin as well as free agency and some teams don't even have enough players under contract to scrimmage 5 on 5.   I thought I would be soured on the league due to the lockout and I guess I still am but I've never been so excited for NBA basketball to start up already.

Fuck the owners. This was the best trade for all the teams but the owners don't want anything for the lakers. Fuck em. Fuck Stern. They screw over New Orleans because they can't take the lakers getting a good player.  Every team he can possibly go to is a big market.. They just shot themselves in the foot.  Now Paul will sit out the year as a Hornet and walk next year as a free agent with NO getting nothing.  Yeah.  good luck trying to sell that franchise.

here is a great article that sums up the stupidity of the NBA

i love having CP3 in New Orleans, but the dude really needs to shine on a proper team and he isn't doing that here.  The NBA owns the Hornets, so they don't want to lose their big investment.  Whatevs, people here don't give two shits about basketball.  They should have just gave us the Jazz back.

FalseHoops Twitter account has had some good ones all night.

BREAKING: Lakers get Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom! #CP3jokes

David Stern for Defensive Player of the Year! #CP3jokes

No doubt Lakers fans will warmly embrace Pau now. #CP3jokes

Somewhere in NOLA, Chris Paul ripped every David Stern poster off his wall. #CP3jokes

This wouldn't be a problem if the NBA had just decided to contract the Lakers. #CP3jokes

And Rajon Rondo is back on craigslist searching for apartments in New Orleans #CP3jokes

That was the best deal they were going to get. I really hate the NBA right now. I hope stern is sodomized daily in hell.

Lolz at whoever said Shannon brown would bring the bulls a ring. That's the dumbest thing I've heard since the nuggets moved their franchise to china. Just because you can that jump doesn't mean you can score.

are you serious? brown is actually a very good all around player and would fit the bulls perfectly. he can defend both guard positions well, has a 3 point shot, and everyone already knows hes athletic. Brown & D-Rose in the same backcourt would run circles around most teams.

he wasnt gettin his shine like that last year because overall the whole lakers team was kinda slippin, but dont get it twisted breh, shannon browns a beast. the only other free agent SG id take over him would be crawford, who can score his ass off but doesnt even exist on defense. brown isnt the type of player to make his own shots but with d-rose dishin the rock to em he could be a great 2nd or 3rd option. smh BOOZER should be the definite 2nd option but nah we all know how that went...

You're delusional to believe that Shannon brown is going to be the number 2 that is going to relive the pressure for d rose. Loul deng at the 3 spot can do everything that brown does better except he doesn't have that freakish explosiveness that brown has but they share the same inconsistency. Affalo would be the better pick up.

you are absolutely wrong. shannon brown is like a really really really shitty version of Rose. shannon brown and rose in the back court together would not be as good as you're making it out to be(2nd or 3rd option on a championship caliber team?HAHAHAHAHAHA). you should be lobbying for Arron Afflalo, not shannon brown.

dont sleep on that boy brown! he would shine in that starters role & he'd get easy buckets all the time. with the Bulls being a defensive team hed get those fastbreak points every game. okay maybe he wont be the second option over Deng but still, hed make a much needed improvement to the team at the SG postion.

however i may agree with you on afflalo, i forgot he was a free agent. he does seem like a perfect as well. afflalo got that wet-wet for 3 & plays good defense, while browns uber athetic with good all-around skills. if they picked up either of em id be stoked.  shit we got the the ECF with keith bogans as a starter, so we really cant lose either way

i dunno, i think the nba 2k12 possibilities with brown are whats enticing me to want him on the team. yall would think he was kobe how i be playin with em, lol. but yea, afflalo's much more consistent in real life

annual greg oden is hurt report

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7336972/trail-blazers-greg-oden-suffers-setback-signs-reduced-deal-portland

jesus christ whats wrong with this dude! i wanna see him get on his grizzly but fuck man the nigga aint been on the court in years!

as far as the CP3 trades all i gotta say is that NOH are owned by NBA itself. they dont wanna lose their superstar right now even though its inevitable. fucking gay. lakers are my 2nd fav. team and if they had chris paul id be super stoked. not to mention that a well-rested kobe bryant was already gonna kill the game this year, if he had CP3 dishin the rock to em he coulda been a contender for scoring champion. if chris paul can get 10 assists a game with david west as their main scorer, he could easily get more on a hungry laker team with a healthy & determined kobe bryant.
