one of the best styles that ive ever seen
Does anyone else rub an old shoe against a newly grip board's flicking area so that the grip won't wear your shoes as fast? Does this even really work? I'm wondering if it's something worth continuing doing or am I just wasting my time.

Whenever I get a new board I just soften the grip up a little by getting a piece of scrap and rubbing it over the grip for a couple seconds.
