This whole "he just added a few stairs, to other people's tricks" argument is ridiculous. By that logic, Pat Duffy only added a few stairs to what Gonz was doing back in the day. I challenge you to bring your gnarliest trick to the local handrail and add 10 or 12 stairs to it. Then you can tell me how "there's not much difference," or "it's not much more difficult."

This little due just made some serious innovations in skateboarding with this part. (Not sure how he'll ever top it.)

Also, in this day in age it's nearly impossible to change skateboarding the way Video Days or Questionable did in the past.

Sadly, almost everything has ABD.

If there is nothing special about adding a couple stairs or feet to the tricks, what's so special about going fast and doing standard tricks?

This part was way sicker than I imagined. I knew he would wreck some spots, but I had no idea it was going to be banger after banger. He didn't have a lot of lines, but I feel like he is going to start incorporating more of those in future parts. He has the talent for them.

despite the typical east coaster's chagrin i was stoked it was so heavily SoCal concentrated. dylan's part comes to mind but...trips to china/spain etc spot porn aside, respect shouldn't be denied for the majority of those spots being major busts and whatever ninja/assassin like behavior that entails skating/dominating them. if there was a token transition trick in this part it would have seemed contrived; kid was on a righteous mission fueled beyond his progression from said departure from his dad's repression, family dynamic/industry expectations etc. the defensive line just watched him effortlessly leap over them and run for an 80yard touch down.
