felt good to get back to it after an intentional hiatus. a good 6-7 months, was just over skating and wanted to focus on other things. looking forward to nicer weather and it feels great to want to skate again.

Very nice skating and I like your style a lot. I did the same thing, took 3-4 months off skating and coming back felt awesome.

Hey thanks Pal I appreciate that. Yeah, it felt really good to come back when it felt right you know? I felt for some time that I was kind of forcing it and just wasn't having fun. Was bound to happen at some point after 20+ years haha, grateful I had a fire in me for as long as I did! Sadly the weather has been shit since literally that day so my boards been staring at me in my trunk but I'm really looking forward to next weeks supposed higher temps.

I’m 30 years old and very washed up in skating/busy in other aspects of life, but I was able to film this part with some of my longtime skate buds. First thing I’ve filmed for in over 10 years or so probably

I visited my parents for a couple of days and it was nice to check the old playground. But it is pity that now noone skates in this town.

I haven't had nollie flips this good before. Surreal to be 38 years old and just now fine-tuning this trick, which I've had on and off for almost two decades. They're still really hard and I'm definitely not consistent with them - shit, it takes me like 25 minutes to land a good one. Regardless, the juice is worth the squeeze - they feel amazing when done properly.

An excellent indoor park, Pitikwe - which I helped raise awareness of, (lightly) funded, and helped to build to an extent - opened in my city in late fall 2023. It was a real blessing to skate there during this past winter. That's where this was filmed.

Damn, such a good part!

Thanks! I def put myself through hell for some of those clips but am proud of the result. Props on keeping those nollie flips and staying on the board through the years   :)

Skating around with the homie the other night. Shaking of cob webs after not skating much due to injury and winter bluez.

Haha felt the same for me. Been skating the last 20+ years and  kinda felt burnt out and bored. Definitely helped to take some time off the board and jump back on it when it felt right again. Hope the weather gets better for you, too! It's been cold and rainy.
