Thanks for the effort, but no, I didn't mean that ad. That's the gap at the hospital on Vermont. That Girl ad was a year or two later.

Probably the best 'r.i.p.' ad I'll ever see; man, what a skater.

From that angle ^ its pretty obvious why it took so long for the back tail to go down on that ledge.

Kenny Anderson Elwood ad, b/s noseblunt (or f/s noseslide) transfer. One of the first photos that got me psyched on skating, loved the way his board is almost vertical.

Is there footage of this?  I always wanted to see it.

There was footage of the attempts in some tour video. I don't think he landed it. Craziest thing is that the bus was moving.

Thanks! I read about this on Boil The Ocean, the buses were going too fast on some attempts. Fulfilling a legendary status for sure.

Don't know if this counts as a classic but it has some classic ingredients. I've never seen this before recently. It might now be one of my favs. Sarge by Yelland.

Can't seem to find it, would be stoked if someone on here had a link! i'm pretty sure Spike Jonze shot it

Sorry if any of these have already been posted, a bunch of the images throughout this thread wouldn't show up for me for some reason.
Anyways, two pictures each from two of my favorite skaters, Cancer Dan and Lennie Kirk, one of each at Hubba.
All of these photos are from chromeball.

Not much to say about either that hasn't been said already--plus the pictures speak for themselves--but I'll ramble a bit anyways.

I just love that Dan is smoking in both, as is his nature, and how effortless each trick looks. That nosegrind is too ill; so loose and flowing, and I kind of like how bare and clean hubba looks. The kickflip just has beautiful colors, the lurkers in the back, and the board lines up perfectly with that circle of wire on the telephone pole, a nice little coincidence.

I saw that someone else posted Lennie's switch back 5-0, but just the raw photo--I honestly think it looks best in the context of the ad. Just classic Alien graphics: clean, simplistic, and well done. By far one of my favorite ads ever. Not to mention Lennie's hands and pursed lips--dude is just going full throttle on a super gnarly trick at a super gnarly spot. The back 5050 photo is just out of control. Dude is grinding like his life depends on it and/or punching through the space-time continuum. I wish he didn't fall off like he did, but so it goes.

Leo Fitzpatrick hurricane, first saw this on Police Informer. I like the way the Half-Cabs look and how his truck is dug right into the ledge. If only he had a Supreme shirt on, haha.
