Kinda though Disenchantment sucked in spite of the voice actors. I'm sure if they do another season the writing will get better.

Started Dark Tourist...first episode is pretty good.   There is actually a tour they take you on the experience what its like to illegally immigrate to the US from mexico

Black Crows is really well done. It's a drama series that takes place in an ISIS training camp.

I enjoyed this. It's definitely a slower pace, but I love westerns. Also, only about an hour and 20 minutes.

Thanks for recommending this one just finished it and thought it was fantastic.

Also, if you liked Slow West, they just added Hostiles. Not sure if you've seen it, but it's a bit slower as well, but a really solid western. I'm a big fan of anything Ben Foster is in.

Haven't seen it yet thanks for the heads up

Season 1 was pretty hard to top though... i thought season 2 was pretty decent. Binge worthy albeit predictable.. i guess that’s what made season 1 so good. Didn’t see anything coming..

Jason Bateman is not a good enough actor to sell what Ozark wants to sell.

I finally sacked up and cancelled Netflix, and started using my mom's account instead. I'm fuckin Benjamin Buttoning it up.

This Netflix movie Calibre was surprisingly good.

I've been watching a bunch of stuff on FilmStruck lately. You can get a 2 week trial for free, it's worth checking out.

I liked it for the most part. Except for the cartel attorney. No fucking way an attorney is actually going to get that involved in day to day business.

Glad to hear you liked it!

They also put back on No Country For Old Men, which is one of my favorite movies. Had to rewatch it again last night after recently reading the book. Too good.

I'm really looking forward to the Coen brother's new Western, that's coming out on Netflix in a couple months.

Darks Days was ok, but you should really read Mole People by Jennifer Toth.
It really goes a lot "deeper", if you know what I mean!
really good book, found a few entrances to the underground at Penn station and next to Fat kid park. Only if I had a guide to know my way around I'm not fucking with the underground.

Just saw LA 92 randomly and I liked it. This one sums up just about everything from the riots including stories and footage I've never seen or heard of. I was only 4 when the riots happened and I coincidentally lived on Normandie and 55th which is just a couple blocks away from Normandie and Florence where everyone was pulling people out of their cars and beating them up. It definitely gave me dejavu considering everything that's currently going on right now.

The new Alfonso Cuaron (director of Y Tu Mama Tambien, Children of Men, and Gravity) movie that he did for Netflix is getting great reviews and winning awards:

I'm looking forward to the new season of Bojack, and seeing what Norm Macdonald's show is like too.

Also definitely gonna rewatch Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and The Witch.

Norm Macdonald has his own show.....

Ozark sucks...I just hated the pace of it....it's pretty common for me...I like the first half of the first season but one the plot really gets going and takes over the characters it just gets dumb....

Is there any such thing as a great Western TV show?  Outside of the first season of Deadwood, I'm hard-pressed to think of any (outside of the cheesy 50's ones).  I remember that show Hell on Wheels being ok for a few episodes but I lost interest.

i watched this new kevin costner show called yellowstone that is trying to be a modern western but it felt pretty forced to me but i kept watching because the setting was so beautiful.

I thought Godless was really good. Although I agree with some of the criticisms that it could've been condensed to a solid 2 and a half hour movie, I still think it's a good show.

I'm a big fan of westerns as well, so if you haven't seen some of my previous posts, Slow West is streaming on Netflix and I really enjoyed that and also Hostiles is great with Christian Bale. They put that on about 2 months ago. If you haven't seen those, check them out.

"The Haunting of Hill House" was legit, if you like slow burn ghost stories.

Cool I'll check it out.  Watched the preview on Netflix and seems like it could be something.

Yes I did see your previous post.... haven't watched Slow West yet but I did watch Hostiles and thought it was fantastic.

Do you have amazon prime?  They have a bunch of great spaghetti Westerns you can watch instantly, like the OG Django (and a few good sequals), Death Rides a Horse (one of my faves) and Magnificent 7.

The Witch and The Ritual were both good creepers... I'm on a horror kick right now being Halloween and all.  Will definitely check out The Haunting of Hill House
Let me preface this post with the fact that I am slightly inebriated, very uneducated and I havent read any papers or done any research at all, or read your post really.
