Just saw the movie "Submarine". It was well directed and the art direction/scenery was beautiful thought the film. Had a dry comedy feel to it but I enjoyed with the girlfriend thoroughly. Idk what it is about woman and somewhat depressing movies but she started making out with me during the credits. Always a good start to a friday.

First and foremost THE CHASER

THIRST

I SAW THE DEVIL

MOTHER

SYMPATHY FOR MR VENGEANCE

SYMPATHY FOR LADY VENGEANCE <----Netflix might have censored this one though.

THE MAN FROM NOWHERE

OUTRAGE

ANTICHRIST

I'll throw some more shit up later as I remember it as well as The posters for the aforementioned.

These movies are nuts. YOU'RE. FUCKING. WELCOME.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just saw it the other night. Amazing film with a cool ending.

Haven't watched Downton Abbey yet but I have watched Gosford Park, which was awesome and fascinating. It's on Netflix so get on it.

I've been hemming and hawing about canceling Netflix for the longest time. 8 bucks a month...shit kinda adds up man but I can't bring myself to pull the plug for some reason.

Haha hey man, don't judge!

But anyways, anybody see Melancholia? Is that shit worth my time?

I think I'm gonna watch Ran and Kagemusha later today, they used to have a ton of Kurosawa movies on Netflix but I guess they lost the contracts to those, which is a shame.

Just got into this series called Traffik. If you enjoyed HBO's "The Wire" then you'll dig this.  Here is what wikipedia says; Traffik is a 1989 British television serial about the illegal drugs trade. Its three stories are interwoven, with arcs told from the perspectives of Pakistani growers and manufacturers, German dealers, and British users.

There's going to be some repeats in here but I struggle with weeding through all the crap of netflix and here's my favorites:

TV Shows:
Breaking Bad - epic. After the first 4 or 5 episodes it really gets amazing
Wonder Years - truly is classic

Movies:
Exit through the gift shop
The Man from nowhere(subtitles, but epic revenge movie)
Tucker and Dale vs Evil(fun to watch while drinking some beers)
Limitless - pretty interesting and entertaining
Red Hill- just watched this and it's ok. pretty entertaining. Australian version of No country for old man kinda.
Exam - once again, just good entertainment, nothing amazing.
The Perfect Host - weird and creepy, but the main actor does an awesome job.
Trainspotting
Sin Nombre - I really enjoyed this
Shutter Island
Life In a Day- kind of interesting documentary
Bronson - really good
Toy Story 3 - gotta love Pixar flicks
Troll Hunter - pretty damn entertaining

Hope this helps

I've found this to be extremely moving and interesting and patriotic. I've been brought to tears a couple times and I'm only three episodes in.

John Muir is my new hero I think.

A few movies/TV shows that I've watched/rewatched recently and enjoyed:
Donnie Darko
True Grit
Sukiyaki Western Django
13 Assassins
Memento
Airplane
Day Breakers
Rango
Archer
Clerks
Shutter Island
The League
The Evil Dead
The Perfect Host

I also recently started Twin Peaks, super stoked on it. Bobby has some Dylan Rieder style going on.

Jumanji is on netflix right now.
It got me a bit teary, such a softy for anything with some dramatic father/son interactions. Didn't remember it having such a happy ending though.

I've been using this site: http://abetterqueue.com/

It filters the available netflix movies by RottenTomato ratings. You can search by ratings, years released, and genre. It's pretty awesome for sorting out the good from the shitty. I tend to agree with a lot of RottenTomato ratings anyway, but I know some people don't like their system.

Exactly, its a boring rainy version of it. With way less interesting characters and no comedic element its just 100% depressing. Its the kind of series I hate but I have to finish it.

The end of season 1 was one of the most frustrating endings to a tv show ever.

There's going to be some repeats in here but I struggle with weeding through all the crap of netflix and here's my favorites:

Breaking Bad - epic. After the first 4 or 5 episodes it really gets amazing

Toy Story 3 - gotta love Pixar flicks
Troll Hunter - pretty damn entertaining

Solid List! I've seen 90% of these, liked all of them, so I'm gonna watch Man from Nowhere and Red Hill based on your taste.

Gotta say wasn't a fan of "Exam", but like you said nothing amazing

I second "Kagemusha", that's a fucking rad movie.

If you are looking for humor I suggest...

"The Winnebago Man" (thanks to AntiHero's Beauty and Beast "beast" edit for introducing me to this guy)...

and "Stephen Wright: When the Leave Blow Away"...

Just watched Delhi Belly last night and it was pretty entertaining.

I watched The Robber as recommended by a bunch of people, but I just got bored with it. The main character's lack of personality wore on me.

I watched The Next 3 Day(maybe it's the next 3 hours) and it was a fun watch. Once again, if you just are looking for entertainment, it's a pretty good one. Hadn't seen a movie with Russell Crowe in a long time.
