I watched Man on the Moon on Saturday. I enjoyed it.
Oh, that's a great movie!
A bunch of adult swim/cartoon network shows circa 1990s were added recently - the kid in me is hyped!

I've been watching a bunch of Parks and Recreation lately. I thought that it would be a shittier interpretation of The Office, but no - it's great. Also, I finally mustered up the courage to watch the UK edition of The Office - very satisfied, but it was hard as fuck to get past the first two episodes.
Parks and Rec rules!  First two seasons are kinda meh, but the third and fourth are pretty much gold.
I'm on season four now, and it's gold! I actually like all of the seasons to be honest. Season 1 - Episode 6 "Rock Show" is definitely one of my favorite episodes. Andy is hilarious and Mouse Rat is the funniest fucking thing.

Dude, Ron Swanson, Andy, and Aziz are unreal.  They make the show fucking great.  This has to be one of my new favorite comedies.  I would recommend it to anyone.
I've loved the shit out of the chick who plays April ever since I first saw her. I'd do anything to just meet her.

Dude... Who wouldn't?  I would give my fucking left nut to meet her.  So god damn cute.  It is unfair.

I only counted one other person who mentioned it, but if you're not watching Mad Men, you're missing out on one of the best shows on TV, period.

This isn't the 90's anymore. ESPN, Nike and Mountain Dew are Big Brother, Es and beer. Time to slip into some comfy New Balances and head towards old age.

Good Italian mafia based movie

Yeah I came to this thread to post that actually. One of my favorite movies.
I love that scene too, and when they're partying after stealing the coke from the Africans.

I've been watching the Ken Burns Civil War documentary series lately. Really engrossing and comprehensive, highly recommended.
They have a lot of his stuff on Netflix. The wwII series is super good as well, and someone mentioned the national parks one earlier.

Absolutely. It's definitely my favorite/the best new comedy on air. I re-watch most of the Andy and Ron scenes several times just out of hilarity. Like the first lil sebastian episode? -HOLY SHIT. Ron's giggle when they announce lil sebastian is one of the funniest things that I have ever heard.

And of course April...

If any of you guys actually meet her, you've gotta share the story!

Selling God is a good documentary on the "business" & marketing schemes of Christianity, if you're in to that sorta thing.

I'm glad it was mentioned, because April is a fucking goddess. The character, and probably the real woman. I will fight any of you to the death for her hand in marriage.

That show pretty much made my childhood.
Batman Beyond is on Netflix, but it's not really the best substitute.

I never saw that, but 'mask of the phantasm' is surprisingly good and decently dark for a batman animated movie

Thanks for that. I've been meaning to watch Exit Through the Gift Shop for a while now - I know what I'm watching tonight.

and to Greg Road... Twin Peaks is crazy! I just started watching. David Lynch is genius.

And a gnar for you, sir.

I was wary about Warrior considering the subject matter but I actually really enjoyed it.

I've plugged Where Soldiers Come From here before. It's a documentary about a few guys I grew up with who went to Afghanistan with the National Guard. It may be a bit erroneous to suggest it's apolitical, but it's an unbiased and honest look at most of the people who go to war and how it affects their families and communities

Twin Peaks is one of those shows that people always plug, and once you watch it you understand why. I'm a big fan of David Lynch and the show is some of his best stuff.
