Informative and funny, as expected.

Didn't know about his early ACME part:

Clyde Singleton, 'Untitled' Acme (1994)

Very true, Clyde. So what's up next for you?

I?m filming a few tricks for this Paradox video. Paradox griptape. I got a little crew and we?ve been skating a good bit. One of us has a camera so we?re always trying to see that. It?s been really cool. There?s no pressure on my back now. I like that.

"But I had written this whole thing about how whenever Zero comes to town, it?s like when the Insane Clown Posse comes around. You see all these weird Juggalo skater dudes that you?ve never seen before. All these Ritalin kids with their weird-ass parents and their Harry Potter-looking chicks? they?re all wearing their weird Hamburgler-looking shirts. And when they leave, it?s like these people were never even there. You never see them again"

some serious poetry in this statement

"like Young Buck in G-Unit" haha... well-played sir

Clyde should have his own show on satellite radio, like on Shade 45 or some shit. Talents are going to waste. I mean, if Jason Ellis can become "the next Howard Stern"....

Nieratko and Carnie already have their stink all over the fucking industry - we don't need more from those idiots.

Now, a mag run by Clyde and Tim - I'd subscribe to that.

I'm not necessarily saying he's not, but - and I know this is crazy - when I pick up a skate mag I'm actually interested in reading some insightful shit about skateboarding and not about how irreverent or ironic the writer can be.

None of the main writers for any of the main mags seem all that interested in skateboarding as far as I can tell. They're much more interested in writing about tour antics, asking totally inane questions to get a laugh, and talking about weed and chicks, etc.

I think this is because most skate industry writers are fat old fucks who don't actually skate anymore, but that could just be a coincidence I suppose...

i definitely feel this; now a days i can barely read through a whole interview without quitting halfway. I think the jake johnson quartersnacks interview is the best thing ive read all year and it was about skateboarding through and through.

cats is nice but I aint seen god since hova spit that navy blue to me
