they are really really gimmicky. they mostly work right but when they dont games go to hell. The games themselves are average at best. sure dance central is a good idea but everything else feels really sloppy. Most serious games designed for the kinect actually feel really limited like if they didn't have the restrictions of the kinect they could be something great. Another thing, make sure you have a large living room or it will not work. The kinnect is simply not designed for your average little apartment.
