$lavery days at Memory Screened
« on: January 15, 2012, 10:12:27 AM »
Hey,
One of the most exciting "new" skate artists around, Ben Horton of $LAVE skateboards, has that lil' interview thing on Memory Screened. That would be www.memoryscreened.wordpress.com, thank you very much. I heard 2012 was shameless self-promotion year, so I decided to give it a shot over here ha ha. -Seb

Thanks !
I just tried to post in this tread some extra artwork of Ben's that i didn't use in the post, but it didn't work. I'm sure that it's explained somewhere on the forum how to post pix, but I couldn't find where. maybe 'cause I forgot to really look?

I had made it that far... but then the url of the pic wasn't working, I upload it on Picasa (I'm that ancient). So I used the sole universal cure for any technical problem I've ever encountered : I said "fuck it" and went my merry way.

" I was raised to give up," philosopher George Costanza once said. I made it my mantra.

...so I decided to give it a shot over here.

I think you should make it a tradition. That last images are amazing.
Thank you very much Seb. And, by the way, the blog is sick and the interviews are really good. For me it's priceless to read that kinda questions about the graphics and the creative process behind them - or even the opinion of the skaters involved.
Quel dommage qu'ils soient si rares. ;D

Cosme... I take it you're not too unfamiliar with France, right? Si oui, on a l'air bien cons de parler en anglais ha ha. Bref. Yeah, I wish I could post more often on the blogs ... btw I also updated A Visual Sound with a Geoff Rowley mini-interview thing wher he talks about his Really Sorry tune -a Liverpool supporter classic !
