Skating is good, but everything about this is so shitty.  Why would you send a kid home after a day because he can't ollie some shit.  So dumb.  Whoever is in charge of this sucks.  But Simoni, John and Matt Militano are killing it.

what a mess, they have an amazing group of dudes this year and silly challenges are gonna keep them from shining.
the production value went to hell as well, last years OIAM was probably the best all around.
I cannot convey the hate clearly enough.

This shit never would have happened if Whitely was there  :'(
I actually did hit another skater in the face with my shoe once at a demo doing a shoes fly off kickflip but he was cool with it.

Some American Idol shit going down at the end.

And yes, they should judge it on the skating and not contests. It's like survivor or something.

The part where they threw them ccs catalogs made my stomach turn.

seriously. that was pretty gross.
I know shit's gotta get paid for, but still.....that was the opposite of subtle advertising/product placement.

HAHAHAHAHAHA WHY DID THEY REVERSE MATT'S TRICKS ON THE FLATBAR?  at 5:40.  those first 2 tricks were not switch in real life.  what in the actual fuck.

oh my god everything just flew out of the window with that.

Also, what was with the 180 revert and then pus,h like he's starting a line, and then cut?
example. i cant cast a spelll or love potion on a girl and she falls total in love for me
but i can show a girl my tv youtube clip on my or her phone. but there's a difference ok

Why not eliminate based on high ollie? I think that will be interesting. Would be just as random to base it off one day of skating and making a subjective decision on who wasn't "ripping".
I thought it wasnt just him solo, shouldve stuck with my og thought.

that matt militano kid is an imposter. He skates like a laid back chill skater doing crazy shit but cries when he breaks his board doing a lipslide 3flip out? what a lame.

this whole editing is bizarre.  i don't know that they did to a lot of the VX night footage either, it looks terrible now.

when you're out skating with all the homies and you break your board, you're bummed, because that means you can't skate for the rest of the day.

Yeah, that was rough. I would have had less of a reaction had there been a 5 second "Brought to you by CCS" stinger somewhere in there. And I like how they directed the guys to be all, "Oh, dope! Can't wait to see what new and Stars 'n' Straps gear they got up in this bitch!" Note to marketing: a lot of consumers are much smarter than you give them credit for and seeing shit like this actually pushes us away from the brand you're selling.

man none of these dudes have a personality, yes its about the skating but fuck if your gonna have a show like this you need people who aren't going to put the viewers to sleep. Last One in a Million was so entertaining because of Forrest, but its only the first episode so i could be wrong. Also an elimination an episode? What a regular rule, slap ya fucked up!

This looks like it could be more interesting.

And $20 a day? Damn, that is pretty harsh. I have never been to NYC but I can imagine that if I had to push around SF all day and night with $20 a day and no access to a kitchen I would be eating pretty trife.

Edit: Hadn't finished the episode yet when I made my comment. I hope they don't use anymore HD fisheye (acid trip lens)... or any HD for that matter. And I am pretty hyped so far that all the kids seem to have good attitudes.

Most hyped on Adam and Matt. Everyones skating is sick but the episodes seem wack so far. Really not feeling the high ollie contest elimination. Cant wait for the raw edit.

i'm still blown away by that.  in fact i hard to rewatch it a minute ago just to make sure i hadn't been imagining it.  i've never even heard of anybody mirroring a trick in a video before.  what the fuck.
