Next elimination is "Soggy biscuit". For those who are not familiar, get yourself a biscuit, oreo/hobnob or something similar, from a flacid start you got to beat your meat and the last person who jizzes on the biscuit not only gets there board focused by luscious louise but also gets to eat the biscuit. Not sure if youtube are down with it though

took a lil road trip w/ lurker lou and some people many years ago. this was when 411 was still kinda relevant, and before Vicious Cycle came out. at one point in the car, one of lou's boys was sweatin him and sayin, "lou man, you got all this sick footie, give it to 411 for a wheels of fortune." to which lou replied, "nah man, im waiting for zered's video to drop. that's when im gonna show the skate world some new shit." very true story.

for some reason, ever since then, i haven't been able to take him seriously.

I don't even know why they are going to skate parks. If I was in NYC I wouldn't want to go near a skate park.

That episode had some pretty sick shit actually. Too many kids though, can't really tell a lot of them apart.
The dudes I'm feeling I guess are little braces guy, green wheels guy, and blonde haired guy. Goofy glasses and impossible guy is kinda tight too. Not feeling afro one upping guy too much.

gap to 5050 was cooler because he thought about skating the spot that way.
Skating a park is a nice way to warm up.
Are the brooklyn banks actually gone? Aren't they right by there? If its still around its kind of a "must hit" for NYC, right?
That dean kid was rad, too bad he's probably done now. such a freak accident way to go out.

Colin with a nice face on the video cover. Team Handsome filmer?

i'm getting flown out to film for dylan.

the banks are gone.  well, they're still there technically, but are completely fenced in, covered in construction equipment, and surrounded by cops.

man how bummed is jake gonna be for agreeing to be in this.

i dont usually like impossibles, but simoni's out of the manual was nice, popped out 5 feet or so. colin freaking out at the end is funny for relatable/slap reasons. also the vx line footy is clearly the best non-skating decision in this years show. good job

They should make sure to include Jake Johnson footage in every episode.

Edit: Now that I actually paid attention to Colin, all the pieces are starting to come together.

This is old but Kennedy rides for Lurker Lou's company Iron Claw.
Did the sponsorship go down prior or after OIAM?

It means that the decision to not go all hd, and get a good filmer with a vx to film lines is the best thing about the show besides the skating itself.

imo that's the worst shit you can do. just get a proper HD setup, now ultra wide DSL lenses... a PROPER fisheye

So, it's a good thing to use outdated equipment, rather than get a modern rig that captures more detail at a higher frame rate?

Makes sense.

Seriously, I never got all the HD hate. Just cause some people don't do it right, doesn't mean it sucks. On the contrary, it's better. The VX had its time. Hell, it had a longgggg as time. It's time to retire it and move on, guys. Embrace change; don't be afraid of it

Why? How is it better? Vx looks amazing, what's there to improve on? Slap doesn't have the biggest budget either to just buy the newest hd shit,  have you seen the hd fisheye footage from this year?its laughable at best. That's their options, and I'd take vx over that nauseating shit.

This years OIAM is kind of like a new medicore horror film. It has a lot of people starring in it who I can't tell apart because they have no interesting characteristics and i don't care when they are killed off.

After watching that clip of Kennedy, I'm a fan. That was a really good part. There's a halfcab flip into a hill in the part that doesn't seem like much, but I know exactly where that hill is, a friend of mine lives at the top of it, and rolling down it at all is insane. Its as steep as hills get in SF, and goes straight into a wall. I don't know how he made the turn with the speed he picked up even going from the point he did. The whole part was really good, his style is amazing and he does really cool tricks, but I wanted to point that one out because I bet most people didn't even notice it.
