the skatepark filming sessions might be a good training for the actual "winner" of this thing, since half of the job of being pro  is producing shitty webclips in TFs vulgo skateparks.
and as i mentioned above: somebody call kerry getz or at least  buy lurker lou a sledge hammer.

i really don't see how everyone didn't get a ton of a footage. they were skating that skatepark pretty much all day, right? i've literally never gone to a skatepark for a full day session and walked away having landed just a handful of tricks. there were multiple filmers too, so it's not like they were competing super heavy for one filmer's time. tyler got a clip of a bs flip on a hip too, so there clearly wasn't much discretion, if any, on what was considered film-worthy.

i'm kinda pissed just thinking about how dudes are flying out from california to ny to skate in a contest where they'll get hooked up properly if they win, and all they have to do is get clips at a fucking skatepark to stay, and multiple dudes manage to not come through. you can do any and every trick you can do in the street at a skatepark, much easier. even taking away the contest aspect of it, what skater who isn't injured just sits around at a skatepark all day? they're all mostly kids too, so they have no excuse for not having the energy. i still think kennedy should've gone home over mikey, but both of those dudes should be ashamed of themselves.

They need to show all the dudes stats, like height, number of sexual partners, favorite muppet etc.

That will make it more legit

Oh God, this is so depressing and boring watching a bunch of fully grown men bully some ugly children without there even being any skating.

I imagine most slap members have came across the pornographic website www.backroomcastingcouch.com - I find the vibe of that and the vibe of the judges eerily similar

The only enjoyable aspect is Cocksuker Lou being unable to focus the boards each week

How can a grown man not be able to focus a board? I focus a board every time I get out of bed. Embarrassing.
Before you say the music sucked, have you considered shutting the fuck up?

it's really depressing watching these as they come out.  i know what's coming, but it is always put together in the most ridiculous, embarrassing way.  i don't regret being a part of it, because i'm homies with all the kids now--they were all cool as fuck--but god damn, this shit sucks.

if they use all the footage i know they have of joseph that night for the next episode, it will be fucking amazing.  dude is legendary

These judges are total fucking cunts, powertripping with smallest amout of power possible. What a fucking losers. Steve, do you really think this will not drive your sales down into oblivion? Pathetic, this is horrible, perfect example of what skating is not about. Did I see a fucking blowwissle in there somewhere?

every time a judge opens their mouth i cringe. As hate mentioned it could be they were trying to be dicks ironically, but guess what? There is no such thing as irony when your a reality tv personality.

Steve calles giving advise on how to nurture a career as a pro skater is the only irony I saw.

I've tried to watch each episode but each time I turn it off within a minute and spend the next hour fantasizing about beating each of the judges senseless with a zip zinger.

Yeah, what the fuck was with the attitude about him without the board? They acted like he left his skateboard at home before his 60 second run. I didn't see any skating go down.

I liked Mikey, he seemed like a chill kid, especially if he came from the situation that they are claiming. Kids from the hood can develop a real rough exterior real quickly, and he still came off as positive and chill.
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”
I quit skating for a time due to piling out

Check out my original thought: Chris Cole does some ugly tricks and has wack kit! I'm super edgy and interesting because of my controversial opinions.

I feel like they judged the skaters based on random selection of tricks instead of the footage they produced throughout the whole day.  I mean, all they remembered Alex Conn doing was a switch smith? which was part of a line?  And why did they say all dean had was the merlin flip or whatever?  I'm pretty sure he had that one crazy rail dancing trick.  confused...

cringe.

There is no way they're doing this to "make fun" or reality television. I'm sure that's a convenient thing to say now that it's out though. I'd be fuckin embarrassed to, but if you put out a pile of steaming shit at least have the balls to stand by your pile of steaming shit. whoever wrote and produced this show is a mark and should be treated as such.
