I think it's safe to say the bar is a bit lower for Lance...: )

That part had me up out of my chair more than once, and I promise you it wasn't sympathy applause for an old man

Times is changed, life is strange
the glorious days is gone
and everybody's doing bad

Just kidding, any Gino footy will be alright by me.

The pressure we're putting on him is obviously driving him nuts.

That was cool. But I gotta say, a lot of heads are putting pressure on the guy to come up with an epic Guy-style-part. Dude is 37 years old. I'm still super stoked to see whatever he comes up with... but he is 37 years old.

Just sayin!

isn't koston that old? last time i checked, lance mountain was pretty up there, and he filmed a bangin part in the flip vid.

True, true!  But how many Kostons (or any other similar dudes that have been continually ripping for years, without interruption) are there? And Lance is up there (45 or 46) too for sure, but he skates tranny, which is much MUCH easier on the knees.

I just don't want to get my hopes up too high and get let down.  The fact is, we've seen the best of Gino...  At least that's what I'm holding onto!  If I'm wrong and he one ups Guy for the comback part of the year... Well, it'll make it even sweeter wouldn't it?

I'll enjoy whatever I get.

you're right. not to many dudes like koston, can even think of one. oh wait, reynolds.... anyone else?  creager?   gino in his prime was amazing, i'm glad that we got to enjoy that.

What I mean is that Lance can put out a part consisting of the same tricks he's done for 30 years and we can be stoked on it (& I definitely was - Lance is a favorite).

For guys like Gino who were once super progressive & technical (which Lance will be the first to say he never was) I think there's a little more pressure to "top yourself."

I hope Gino isn't feeling that pressure & just puts out a sick part with some stylish lines. I don't need a Guy-style comeback from him - I just wanna see him roll, like most of us here I think.

it was cool lil interview he seems like a pretty mellow dude. like whats been said before hes 37 and is past his prime. he's just skatin to have fun. hell have a re-watchable part in the chocolate vid but i doubt itll be that "super epic comeback part" or whatever. this will probably be his last one unless he does something for a future SB Chronicles vid.

it's easy to hate on what he's doing when you have unremarkable ability on a skateboard. it's impossible for you to put yourself in his shoes because you will just never have an inkling of what it's like to be gino. man's an artist that doesn't wanna water down his discography with some bullshit webclip, it's a good thing.

This was one of the worst fucking interviews ever.

I don't think you could come up with worse questions.

You all are dumber for having sat through that.

Ron Allen Turned pro at around 28, i'd say he's proof that if you take care of yourself you can skate at a high level for a while

Ron Allen is a nice guy and a fun personality, but he was never known and will never be known for his skating.

you can make excuses for his lack of ambition all day, it doesn't change history.

His 'discography' only consists of a few singles.

I loved Ron Allen's one footers when I was a kid.
Plus the airwalk to boardslide a handrail blew my mind over 20 years ago.
