We were doing Slappy Sundays in Toronto for a few weeks in the summer.  We painted a bunch of curbs on a side street with Red paint.   Lots of good times!  It died off eventually but people still skate there (now not so much... cold and all).  Great way to kill a lazy summer afternoon though!

Some are, but once you understand how they work and find something slick enough you can slappy anything. All your weight on your front truck and run into the curb with your front truck, don't lift up at all. Once you figure them out it's all you want to do.

I love the slappys where you powerslide a foot before you get to the curb and just smash in

Oh okay, cool. Curbs in Australia are hardly ever painted and always straight so it took me a really long time to learn them, but yeah I agree, once you do learn them its the funnest trick ever.

it not like a technical trick you  sit there and study, just get over the fear of smashing that shit up there and you got it
