Colombia
« on: February 11, 2012, 12:14:56 PM »
I'm moving in about a month to set up there long term and wondering if anybody's got any spots or info. I'll be in Cartagena but will be going up the coast (Santa Marta, Baranquilla) a lot, plus my wife's got family in Bogota so I'll be there a good bit too.

I think that miniramp David Gonzalez does all those revert tricks on is in Bogota, but other than that and the plaza/flatbar/funbox in Cartagena, I got no idea what's out there. Any pals wanna help a triscuit out?

If anybody's ever in the area hit me up too, we'll shred!

Fuckin A, I'm way up in the rockies, like 9500 feet. The only place I have to skate is my barn. But hopefully I'll find some spots in Colombia by the time you make it down south!

Good thing the FARC just said it won't be kidnapping people anymore.  You can shred a little safer.

Colombia is great. I have spent abou 6 months there travelling.
Check out www.skatecol.com for spots and skate shops. You can probably meet skaters through the shops or the people that do that website.
I hope you speak spanish, man!

lol i just got back from there, bogota has some sick spots, its a huge fuckin city so you could prob just cruise around and find good spots wherever you go. i wasnt on a skate trip or anything so i just basically cruised around when i had some free time and it worked out pretty well.
