There was one time at the Vans park in Milpitas was first open, I was there one night and Phepls happend to be there skating there were some kids there telling him to skate to rail on the pyramid - telling him to board slide it and after two unsucessfull tries he finally ollie/slappy boardlslides the rail. It was funny seeing him like a circus animal. Like a bear riding a bike.

kinda interesting considering that story of his once about how someone turned up at his crew's halfpipe and they forced the guy to roll in before he was allowed to skate it. poetic karma

when he had the vert ramp near High Speed the rule was that you could only skate it if you rolled in, at least that was what i was told when i was taken there. everytime i skated te place i was worried that he'd show up and make me do it. glad he never did.

I don't get why everyone made such a big deal about that. Shooting people with fireworks has been a long standing skateboard tradition and pails in comparison to the old CKY stuff. We had a big firework war in the parking lot of southside after the showdown this year and I got shot several times and it doesn't hurt at all.

I believe it was called The Widowmaker. There was an article about it in Thrasher.
