haven't tried the FP's but the Zoom Tre AD's were the best. seriously, the best "tech" shoe ever. not even exaggerating that entire shoe was genius, they skated perfectly.

Once you get them, take a razor blade with a triangular edge and poke tiny ventilation holes in the places that won't get fucked up from skating, make sure they go all the way through. Then, proceed to shred.

I've done this with all suede sk8-hi's and it did the trick.
