This sprang into curiosity the other day talking with a friend. Anyone flat footed, or know of pros/ams/dudes who may be?

I myself am, but it's never hindered my skating. My laziness and other problems/habits did, but curious to hear whats the good word by folks out there.

Jake Duncombe. I remember reading about how he ollied a set barefoot and Globe photoshopped shoes onto his feet and used it as an ad.

I'm flatfooted. I get foot cramps were my arch should be. I use a spiked roll thingy after a long session.

I am and my feet hurt all the time. It also limits my choices in footwear. I've got these new condition eS McCranks that I can't wear because they are too thin. Feelsbadman.jpg

One of the best skaters I've ever known did. I noticed it when he decided to skate barefoot one day and ever since have assumed it probably gives you more board control

Same. I get lower back pains from time to time, but that's probably from something else.

I'm flatfooted as shit. skating in cupsoles seems to make it easier for me though

Flat footed as well. Couldn't play sports as a kid considering the cleats killed my feet. It sucks though because mid sesh my feet would start pounding with pain for 10 minutes, but then it goes away.

I am flat footed too but i never had issues with anything. The only issue i had is that when i was a kid my parents made me wear some really dorky shoes that would do good to my feet and my friends were giving me shit about it. I guess i am lucky..

i used to have really bad flat feet. it fucked up my knees and i couldn't skate for awhile, just buy better shoes maybe get dr scholls arch support. my feet kind of have ghetto arches now after wearing dr scholls for like 2 years

I've also got flat feet and I use orthopedic insoles, just not for skating (couldn't feel shit with such thickness of the sole). The advice doctors gave didn't tell me shit and information I found online is not very uniform. Luckily, I don't have any problems (yet). Also, I suck a skating, just not due to flat feet.

if your feet are fucked up, it can affect your ankles, knees, hips, back...

my feet slope inwards - possibly from wearing crap shoes - resulting in many sprained ankles as a kid.
been wearing specially designed orthotics for 12 years now, and they're amazing
