Try to leave your shoulders straight or even move them in the opposite direction while you're doing the first 90 degrees of a 180. Needless to say, pop and tweak the shit out of it... I'm not sure if this will help you much but just how I (try to) do them.

It was the TWS vid with biebel.. subtleties I think. Super dope shifty, I remember it being slow mo'd and I really wanted to see it in regular. I mean the shifty is all about the rhythm and the motion and you gotta get a feel for it without the slow mo
