So much good stuff. Suciu's fs crook alley oop180 line, Tim O's 5 0 shuv pop out line, Gall's ollie up to 5050 the handicapped bar, Rickys ollie into the street, Wenning,Kalis, and Stevie's everything. Donny Binaco's airwalk was gnarly to.

Fuck that Reynolds shit. I like the dude's skating. But he flew out specifically to frontside flip the gap, did it, and left. That's not what that spot is about.
Besides all the shit in photosynthesis, the coolest single trick to go down at love (since the best shit there were actually the lines) was Ricky Oyola's ollie off the ledge into the street with cars coming...even though that was in a line too.
Wenning's coast to coast b/s nosegrind on the 2 stair ledge was as perfect as skateboarding can be.
I really really liked Pat Corcoran's 10 foot long frontside crook in photo
Pretty much every love line Wenning did in photosynthesis was amazing
Stevie's switch front nose on the high ledge
Stevie's line in the reason where he does like 10 tricks in a row is sick
Poppalardo's line with the noseblunt and nollie heel front noseslide
Kalis had a line that ended with noseblunting one section end to end to fakie, and then doing a long b/s nosegrind
Kalis's switch back heel over a bump to can
Kalis regular 360 flip over a can (so beautiful)
Pappalardo's switch flip over a bump to can.
Stevie's nollie frontside heel over a can on its side
Wenning switch pupecki to pop out in the middle of the ledge to fakie, and switch half cab out
Wenning's shit off the 3 stair ledge.
AVE's switch manual switch 360 flip out.
I can go on and on....
Love park shit was always the best I can go on for days about the crazy shit people did there
and just for the sake of nostalgia, I remember Tim Achille, Omar Alverio, Rich Adler and Jimmy Gorecki killing love, then aside from  Adler they didn't have any footage after that (I pretend that Jimmy Gorecki ice cream shit never happened)
But yeah, if you say Reynolds frontside flip down the fountain, you kind of are missing what made love so rad
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”
I quit skating for a time due to piling out

LOVE was in its prime during the Kalis and Stevie era, there are just too many tricks to name that they did there. Other stuff that stands out in my mind is....

Danny Montoya's line in the reason with the nollie front crook off the ledge of stairs at the end.

Oyola ollie up kickflip off the main ledge then ollie up ollie into the street right in front of the car.

Fred Galls ollie up the ledge then ollie out to 50-50 the rail and I will also add Kerry Getz's lip slide on the same rail.

Going there and taking a rock from under one of the broken tiles home as a souvenir. I had an impulse to ollie it but my foot was broken and it was wet outside. Probably would've pussed out anyway.

When I went about 3 weeks ago three kids were skating so yeah Love is still being skated. It's probably just hard to skate there for a long time.

This one is so memorable to me. About as 'street' as you can get.

Ryan Gee kickflipping the 5? stair.

I onlye 11 when Chomp was first released and I didn't have the internet (as if it would have helped) so I had no idea that he wasn't a pro/am.

I had only been skating for about a year so I was extremely hyped to see a skater with a similar skill level to mine in an actual video.

LOVE in general is still skatable. The gap is skatable, the ledges are skateable and so are the stairs. Nothings really changed drastically. On any given day you'll fine a bunch of people skating LOVE. However, city hall is gone.

Kevin Taylor had alot of real sick stuff there.

Anything from Roger Browne.
Jerry Fisher did some real gnarly things.
The Twins from Jersey.

The Sub Zero video.

I could go on and on.

Best spot ever.

-All of the ideal memorable moments that people have named.
-Ishod's first try Heelflip
-watching B-dougs do lines that literally go around the entire park.
but lately it's the current weekend sessions there skating and filming with some homies.
sometimes you get 30 minutes and sometimes you get all day.
gap, most ledges, and levels are all fully skate-able, and every now and then somebody props a tile up.

any tim achille footage, mainly his abstract part. He had some good stuff in the vern laird shoot all skaters on the berrics as well.

I see the dude every now and then around town, he still fucking kills it.

Was there today! A good amount of people were skating too! I love hearing people talk about it like its been demolished or completely skate stopped.  Every now and then I get this vibe like I'm skating a religious relic or shine when I'm there.

Yea im sure most people watched that ON video about love and think its not possible to skate there now. The last couple times ive been there have been bust-free. The ledges are a lot taller than they look, but i just love the flatground there.
