Ive been trying to learn smith kickflips for like 2 weeks now but the trick just seems impossible. Ive had smith's grinds down forever and just recently decided to start trying this trick, but it seems like I can never lock into them with my front foot in a good position to do the kickflip out, and when I try to kickflip out with my foot in the position I smith grind in I always end up only getting like half the flip or kicking the board away, shits frustrating.

front tail kickflips on ledge - i can do them going slow and kind of stalling, but actually doing them with a slide is a completely different story
bs 360 on flat - most rage inducing trick, i should really just stop trying

I think you should move your front foot on the middle of the board at the same time you lock into a smith. I think when your front foot is in the middle of the board for the kickflip, it should make the board flip faster. I had the same problem, but I figured it out by just lowering my front foot down each time my board would half flip or land primo.

Fs 360 no comply. I fell in love with them when I saw BA do them in that line in girl's yeah right years ago. Recently i figured out how to do the 180 ones and i am eager to learn the 360. Any tip?

there is a trick to this trick. I'm regular foot, so if you are too, follow directions to success. if you're goofy, go to menu > cheats > mirror mode and you'll get it.

the ultimate trick to the fs no comply 360 is to throw your right shoulder LOW into the spin. what i mean is that after you wind up, just before you step off and pop it, you want to throw your right shoulder towards your left hip, and voila. through you obviously need to figure out timing and the step off, both those things will come into alignment if you just throw the right shoulder LOW towards the left hip. if you throw it high then you end up leaning in a weird way and your body won't be orthogonal to the ground.

the trick for learning no comply 360s fs or bs is to realize you can do the trick as slow as you want to. when learning both, i just did the whole thing slow as fuck. put all your weight on your left foot and pause there, take a good two seconds to spin the full 360. focus on just spinning everything 180, let all four wheels touch the ground, then step back on while pivoting the rest of the trick. it will look kooky but once you figure out the motion in slowmo it's just a matter of speeding it up.

that's the beauty of the no comply 360, gravity can't force you to wrap the trick up in a certain amount of time. take your time with it to figure out a controlled 360, then speed that shit up. they're both VERY fun and VERY awesome

okay, someone tell me if this trick is complete trash or not so I can decide to keep trying it or not as I'm at a point where I really don't fucking know.

I've gotten close to back 50/50 front side 180 out into a fakie nose grind.

It started happening on accident while getting better at back 50 front 180 out in the middle.

Also close to back 50 front 360 out in the middle (bunch of pivoting involved)

This. And I learned them by just sitting around waiting for the train, practicing them with one foot til that wrap around motion becomes second nature, then it's easy to do it on the board.

Rock to pivot fakie on a barrier qp. That trick seriously feels like trying to solve a rubik's cube. I have spent a lot of time on that one lately, and I'm still not sure if I'm ever gonna get it.
After 4 or 5 different times trying this one I finally got it, I haven't worked that hard for a trick in a long time  . On a side note, while I was there Deer Man was killing the barriers and filming some sick stuff, it was cool to see in person.

an easy way to get em is to keep spinning when you land the 180. your body almost always wants to complete the rotation if you wind up. same thing with back 3 no complys. just spin fast and get your foot back on.
