worth the money. I mean, its 10 dollars, same price as a wendys meal! The Strobeck part was great, olson with ripping lines. Lem villamen is so fucking good. The  Alien part was amazing.. grant had an absolutely ridiculous nostblunt on an electrical box. Dennis' shit was just worderful. He is the best street skater ever. And robbie brockel's front blunt...

i'm about 20 minutes in.  this is a good fucking video.  i'm maybe halfway through evan smith's part (again).

fun fact: i broke my ankle wallriding the corrugated wall where he does the line where he wallrides the blue tile wall, then the ollies to sidewalk off that steep bank.

yeah sk8mafia was definitely a weird song choice.

it's well worth the $10, i feel. it's just short of an hour long, and if you watch a section at a time before you go skate, you will be hyped.

sorry for the ongoing commentary, i've been typing while i watch.

the workshop section alone is fucking crazy. donovan piscopo skates like an adult and he's super good.

everybody wondering where the gilbert/jake "they're pro now" video is, it's in here.

I was about to come in here and preach about how shitty DRM'd iTunes releases of skate videos are, but clearly its doing it's job. The time it takes to cap and upload one of these from a locked down iTunes file probably made them like $50 in this thread alone.

Sucks, because when you used to buy a DVD that shit was yours forever to play wherever and whenever. Now we get some Masterlock of a file that only opens with iTunes on 3 different computers before it locks you out.

If they just sold the straight .mp4s I could play this masterpiece on my phone, on VLC, on whatever the hell I wanted, and Transworld would get _all_ of the money instead of giving up an unholy cut to Apple. It would be the best possible situation for us and the companies, even better than DVD's/VHS's.

BUT that shit would get uploaded to every single file hosting service on the web within 7 minutes and Transworld and all those filmakers would make like $46 dollars total.

Not sure why I'm posting this to be honest. Maybe someone will realize how much this blatant piracy holds the medium back and will at least keep that shit to themselves? Seems like every other industry is on the verge of bending DRM right over for good but here we are like the iPod video just came out.

Am I the only one who cares about this?

Good film, hard to get through in one sitting, but every filmer came through. Could have been an all timer if most of the music wasn't so mind numbingly boring, but definitely worth a viewing or two.

Fuck. I rewatched the Alien section as soon as it was finished. And I was a big fan of Fat Bill's section. And Chewy Cannon.

Check out my original thought: Chris Cole does some ugly tricks and has wack kit! I'm super edgy and interesting because of my controversial opinions.

holy shit russell houghton what planet am i on?!?

The intro to that part was awfull. It felt like one of those wierdly pornographic montages in baywatch. Everything was great when he stopped trying to be artsy though.

Couldnt enjoy the Busenitz and the Alien stuff the first time I watched it. I knew all the greatness would end so I was just sitting there and waiting.

Omar is crazy, he is way overdue for a new part

I'm never sure if anyone is actually getting pms in these threads, but if someone is handing them out, I'd be most appreciative.

I really liked the video.  I thought the pre-alien section with the simultaneous time-lapse and slow mo footage was really cool.  I always wanted to try doing that but never got around to it....dylan's lipslide with all the people zipping by looked really cool.  Russell Houghten definitely put in a lot of hours.  I was kinda hoping for some more experimental stuff like that given the focus on "cinematographer"....it was a good chance to step outside of the normal skate video format we are used to.  Some took advantage of that, some didn't (eg. Evan smith is amazing but Chris Ray definitely isn't the most creative of the bunch).  I still have to take another viewing, it was a lot to take in.  The alien section was amazingly edited too....I don't know how I feel about the song choice in that section but it was still really well done and the skating was awesome.  It was nice to see Dill going for it again.  Only thing I wish this video had-------French Fred section

I wasn't a fan of the song at first, but as it went on I liked it more and more. It seemed to pick up with the energy of the skating while not being distracting or taking away from it.
