element should turn him pro, as we're all aware, but i really hope they don't because then we'll never see another part from him.
he should travel back in time with his current abilities and get on mosaic era habitat.

Agreed. This guy is one of the best but I know for a fact in the long run, he will either get off Element or get kicked off. There seriously is no loyalty in board sponsors.

how could someone even think they could do some of those tricks? the bs kickflip he did is regular, that shit is a few degrees away from being a wall and he did that trick above the lip? i always loved his skateboarding is forever part but i definitely didn't see him getting to a point where he's on top of the skate game like this.

it's just my point of view, when i see quality footage like this i'm expecting quality music that's all.

cheesy ass soft mainstream pop music isn't for me,but i'm pretty sure lots of people are diggin it.
honestly i don't care it's just sad that all this trash is somehow becoming standard skateboarding music for the new generations.

Skating was amazing, but totally agree with Manolo on the music and in general in videos as of late.

AMAZING. I literally don't remember the song AT ALL after the first watch. That was a pure feast for my eyeballs.

I didn't mind the song. I hope the rest of the video is this incredible.
because canadian skaters have no personality and the only people who will buy the boards are there friends and mom

yeah it took me three watches to notice it. i think it kinda worked for the part because it didn't overpower the footage. obviously the song could've been better but it wasn't a dealbreaker or anything.
edit: four watches in and that song is terrible. hadn't really noticed the vocals before. damn. this part will still be getting plenty of replays from me.

I hear ya, but when you get down to it, it's mainly just Chris Ray & the Transworld stuff that's the prime offender. There's actually a pretty wide variety of music in skate vids these days - it's just that Chris Ray puts out a very high profile video every year, so it seems like we're always listening to his shitty music...:)

Dude I really didn't even notice the song, i was too hyped on every single trick he did. I really couldn't tell you what trick he was gonna do next, nothing predictable.

That was amazing! A lot of tricks that surprised me, where in a lot of other parts I almost know what theyre going to do before they do it. Well thats just boring skaters i guess.

As far as Chris Ray goes it seemed a bit like he was going for a "dylan. 2" guitar playing shots etc. Song sucked hard too.

Does the sound of his board really stand out or am I tripping?

I was at a premiere for this video that my local shop did and Evan Smith's part pretty much stole the show. The whole place was going nuts throughout his part.
