I wish they just played a Futurama episode every time they wanted to play a shitty episode of Tosh.0.

I loved this show, especially the first four seasons.  The first movie was good but everything subsequent has been rather borderline.

I watched the original series a couple weeks ago and have been making Futurama references almost daily. It's to no avail though. I was even in a situation that The Fighting Mongooses was relevant as fuck and no one caught it.

This show is a lot smarter than it may seem. Ive been studying physics for a couple of years and ive notice that many of the show stories that involve physics is somewhat true. Thats one of the reasons I really enjoy it.

There's an episode where the show's resident mathematician (yes, they have one) invented some theorem specifically for the episode.

And I love the Fry eating pancakes clip.

I've talked about this on here before, but the "Godfellas" episode really changed my life. The first time I saw this ending, I remember I just stared blankly at the screen for the next 5 minutes with my mouth open thinking "holy shit, they just proved God"
God in Futurama

I just resubscribed to Netflix because of this show.  It's the best show and they have every episode on there.

I love the one where Fry saves a human whose about to be crushed during a parade and then the Mayor gives him a key to the city and all that and declares "this Parade day, which happens to fall on a Saturday, shall now be called Fry-day!"

cringe.

You're insane. The last 3 seasons of Futurama are so bad at times its unbearable. I've watched an episode and not laughed before.

I can't speak for the season's beyond 6, but yes, Futurama is alot more consistently funny than the Simpsons that were coming out at the same time of release.
Recently I watched Simpson's Season 23 and 24, got maybe 7 good belly laughs out of the whole two seasons. Futurama may not be as funny as it was during it's original run but it sure as hell hasn't declined in quality/ humour in the same way The Simpsons has.
I'm going to argue that Placebo owes their entire career to a Canadian dude's skate video part. Appleyard should be getting royalties for this shit.
