Master's Degree in the US
« on: July 23, 2012, 01:35:57 PM »
I'm planning on moving out to the US for a masters degree in media & communication (advertising, marketing, PR, media management etc.) and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on universities or cities to live in?

I had my sights set on New York with either NYU or the New School, however I'm not too familiar with other universities in the U.S.

Suggestions or experiences? Also, I'd like to skate.

Not sure where you're from, but I would recommend going to a European university and doing an exchange program to study a year in the States (that way you pay the tuition of whatever EU university you're going to). If money is any concern, know that private American universities are unbelievably expensive. I'm an American and currently living in Germany/learning German so that I can apply for a graduate program here...
