The dude is a kooked out arrogant prick but man he fucking rips on a skateboard. Reynolds should step up and make this dudes dreams come true by adding him to Baker, I mean TK is weird and arrogant too and Forest is much more talented. I'd be more stoked watching a Forest part over a Moose or Furby part....

Edit: LE is a good fit, if he's really on thats sick

hot damn, good shit!  why are companies sleeping on this so hard?

Well, that and how many companies actually care about OIAM contestants? People usually get sponsored by sending in tapes, knowing someone, or very rarely, by getting seen somewhere, no?

If the dude isn't sending out tapes to companies, then I don't know how well he'd get noticed.

Also, it'd be great if he diversified his spot selection. I mean, half the footage of him online seems to be just him at a skatepark, and then you have this video which is pretty much just hammers of rails, stairs, and gaps.

As someone just watching for the skating, I think he's dope; he's gnarly and has this effortlessness to his skating that I dig. However, in this day and age, companies have A LOT of skaters to pick from.
Is that how it all works? I thought each skateboarder entered their name into a lottery from birth, and then when their districts ran out of food their name was drawn and they were enlisted to battle it out for a pro skateboarder spot among the greatest of the greats. I was way off. Guess I don't have to train for the joust quite as hard as I thought.

It's funny that you mention that, because I've heard the opposite. I've heard he's just socially awkward and doesn't really feel the need to run around being a hype man on everybody else. Some of the arrogant shit he says is apparently a joke, but doesn't always come across that way.

I like the kid. We need more of him. He rips and I don't give a shit if he didn't want Reuben hugging him. That's his personal bubble and that's not my business.

I mean we all saw that OIAM he was in...he was like 'the Dylon' in Dave Chappelle's parody of 'Making the Band'. Some of the shit he said was unreal, and he wasn't joking. It's cool though I mean its probably a combination of being socially awkard too, I mean he rips and there are kooks that are just as bad or worse than him that aren't half as talented getting hooked up, plus he'll grow up and learn. He'll probably never be fully humble or "normal" which is good because it sets him apart in a good ways and bad, but I could see his arrogance chilling out in the way Bastien's did as he matured. Honestly with Forest, he's probably already come a long was since OIAM, that was probably a huge social learning experience.

With all the positive hippie-weed-smoking attitude today Forrest is a fresh menthol Newport breath of air. Everybody should buy his board, i mean Alex Olson is PRO ON GIRL for heavens sake! Plus, like Phelps and Andy Roy said: skateboarding is about bad, not good things.
