i'm too lazy/broke to ever fold my own zine but i write a blog and am down to write for anyone else's zine. i'm all for it and if i wasn't such a piece of shit i'd have been making my own for yrs instead of occasionally contributing to other peoples'. SAUCE is rad, COMETBUS ain't about skating but it's prolly the best/longest running one. i've done stuff for EXCESS! outta wyoming and 'the loin's mouth' in SF [that one wasn't skate related either].

Avantafro is a conceptual artist. he is involved in so many cool projects , fells like willie wonka is taking you for a ride in his fantastic zine factory !

his design studio makes lots of photo and collage zines. you can see some of them here

http://www.avantafromicropress.tumblr.com/

in my humble opinion they evoke that fancy anarchy tradition from L.A.s NOMAG, with pretty disturbing takes on reallity !

( and oh well since i mentioned it heres a link , excuse me if i digress...)

http://issuu.com/nomansland/docs/nomag_geza_x_full

Abdul also runs a distro to trade and sell zines from around the world

http://batterinfoshop.tumblr.com/
https://www.facebook.com/Batterispace?bookmark_t=page

and he has his own publishin house so feel free to submit your projects to print !

http://www.avantafro.tumblr.com/

you can send him stuff or meet him in his modestedet

 http://www.moedestedet.com/

to attend one of his zine workshops

someone is fighting for your freedom in san francisco. i won t give you names, you probably heard them in americas most wanted

you will find them here, THE GILIAM STREET PROJECT

http://www.924gilman.org/

or in the inovative NOISEBRIDGE HACKER SPACE educating people

https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/Noisebridge

or keeping them alive in THE FOOD NOT BOMBS org

http://ebfnb.org/

some good news

SLINGSHOT#115 is in the making

http://slingshot.tao.ca/about.html

there s also a new comix scene, the MISSION MINI-COMIX

http://www.missionminicomix.com/

and you can always count with a real paper zine when all this technology goes down

heres a real hot link

ABSOLUTELLY ZIPPO chronicles the east bay scene ,from the dawn of Gilman Street Project to the punk explosion of the 90s to  everything happening right now!

a book collects in 400 pages all issues from 1988 to 1998 ,

its beautiful photocopy aesthetics and brilliant written articles make this zine a must to all anarchy lovers  !

trades or $1 for most....issue #49 and 42 is $2...then the postage is about $1 and add about 50 cents more multiple issues.
For international orders i think just add $1 to the postage.

and if you re into this kind of music you should also know the thrillhouse records

I make them when I can, usually in small batches that get given away pretty quickly.

http://bradsdiscountwarehouse.com/

My homie started a small zine publishing thing and has this website for it. I did the yellow split zine with another friend.
