i skate this one right now, perfect for wide feet. it holds up much better than the etnies i skated before. good factory, good quality.

What's up my wide footed brethren!!!

Love the colorway. Are those from the new factory??
[close]
Lakai switched factories close to a year ago now, chances are that they come from the new factory.

I didn't know when they switched factory's. I see a lot of the old factory shoes in my area still.

Probably gonna be a while before they clear their old stock. I'm still skating the lakais I posted in this thread earlier. Soles flat but not thin, and I've broken through the suede, but not the second layer of mesh. The only negative is I could peel off the lakai logo right now, that part looks haggard.

It will definitely be awhile. Nothing but mall shops in my area.

Anybody know any core shop sites where I can order these Lakai Marcs in size 12? CCS/Zumiez/Zappos all have them, but SPoT/Premier/Skatewarehouse/all the other core shops don't. Anybody have any ideas?

i felt the need to share my love for the pico xlk. just a simple, well done shoe. it feels exactly how a skateshoe should feel
god that shoe looks so good skated. like the shape of the toe, the tongue, the laces...
is there a thread for just pics of skated shoes?

How's the fit on the pico xlks? I'm normally a 10.5 in most shoes. I've read that these range from true to size to fitting half a size small.
And I'd be buying them (probably) online because the closest shops don't stock lakai... (yeah, seriously)

they fit true to size for me. theyre maybe a little less long than like nikes and adidas. in comparison, i still go true to size in nike and adidas, but theres a little extra room behind my heel. the pico xlk fits like a sock for me

Bumping this thread, I'm getting the Marcs, Ricks, and the Griffins soon, I'm most likely going to do a review on the Griffin because I haven't seen one done on that shoe yet.

What is the midtop called? I couldn't find it on the site, also are either of them canvas? I don't see a way to search on their site.
[close]

It's the INDIO model due for Spring 2013.
Both colorways in that photo are Canvas: Black Canvas and Royal Canvas.
In the description says it features canvas and synthetic leather upper.

(Scroll the photo to the right).

Did they scrap this shoe?? I couldn't find it anywhere on the site, was really stoked on them and bummed if they are not being made.

should be coming out any day now. contrary to popular belief, lakai ships out shoes monthly, not quarterly like their catalogs. those are scheduled to come out in march, while the howards and griffins came out february
