I've been skating these for the past month or do and say that I agree with just about everything in the review. They're pretty much Nike Half-Cabs

I just hope most people are hyped on them as much as we are. Don't really see too many people skating them.
Thanks for peeping it D00D.

Such an awesome shoe. The lunarlon insoles are seriously good, and I've used them in my past couple pairs of shoes. Hoping to get a second pair soon. Another good review also.

looks like a good shoe, but a 10 for durability when in the 4th week photo the lace area looked blown out? or is that is something that is common with the skater who tested them?

Yeah I know what you mean Randozzi. The durability in the toe area & outsole pretty much accounts for the grading system seeing as how that's more important to most kids nowadays but I totally understand what you mean. I've been doing a shitload of heelflips and that's the result of the lace area being all torn up. Also, I compared it to our last review and comparatively, 10 is probably the better number for the Salazars. They really are durable as a motherfucker. I've continued skating them for another 5 hours since the review and they basically look the same. It's one of those shoes that holds on for dear life towards the end instead of just piling over and blowing out quickly.

Thanks for noticing though, we'll take the lacing and other aspects into consideration from now on. Appreciate the input guys.

For sizing, should I go with my dunk sizing (10.5) or blazer sizing (10)?

The Omar's do have the blazer outsole so I'd go with the 10.

Just got a pair of these yesterday and they seem to fit true to size for me.  They're a little tight, as were the Janoski mids, at first; but after walking around in them it's obvious they'll stretch out perfectly.  Glad to hear they'll skate good and last, thanks for the review and hyped to skate them.

just got dropped off this morning.  been wearing them all day.  Hopefully by the time the sun comes down a bit I'll go skate em

Edit:  They skated great.  Super light-weight, and it had enough ankle support.  Grip felt nice

I've read these run half a size big. I've had blazers before and loved them, would the same size (9) in these fit similarly or should I  ask my shop to try get some a half size down?

I went with my blazer size and they're just fine.  My foot isn't super narrow either, it's just kinda normal.
They will be a bit tight at first though.  The upper is tough like any other new suede shoe, might hurt your ankle for the first few wears

These Salazars were the worst pair of shoes I ever skated.
I always skate a mid to high for ankle support (as im getting old and my joints arent what they used to be) but I found these made my ankles worse. Also I had major trouble with the tongue sliding down the outside of the shoe after like 5 minutes of skating. I had the same problems with the few pairs of blazer highs I have skated. Does anyone else have this problem with nikes mids and highs?
This is just my opinion on them though  :)

worse how?  Did you break them in yet, or are they still new?

But yeah, the tongues slide down like any other pair or skate shoes I own.

Yeh had exams and my wedding and all the things that stop you from skating as much as you would like when you get older haha.
I don't know they just never seemed to soften up for me and i found that they sat on a real bad spot on my ankle so when ever i landed awkwardly they dug in under my ankle instead of supporting them.
Just my experience though. I was surprised at how light they are though. Got a pair of hsu 2s now though and have fallen in love with them so its all good

My blazers lasted me a whole year because of school haha
yeah i think I know where you're coming from, the first few days the upper irritated my ankle.
As long as you found what you were looking for though haha
