Amazing city... just recently spent a week there...

I didn't take my board with me, so I don't really know too much about skating there... really crowded in most places etc.

My suggestion would be to go to Kadik?y on the Asian side of the city... saw 2 skateshops there, I'm sure they'd be able to help you out regarding spots/park or whatever... I remember that one shop was called Freedom, looked pretty legit.

Anyways, enjoy your time there! Istanbul has a lot to offer, that's for sure...

If you haven't seen this, it might be worth checking the actual version. Can't imagine Istanbul would be the easiest place to skate but it would no doubt still be a lot of fun.

Hello,

a couple of friends and I will travel to Istanbul soon and I was wondering if somebody could help me out with some advice in regard to spots and other pleasures (e.g. good places for food, drinks, etc.). Every answer is much appreciated.

We are also down for joined sessions since this worked wonderfully in our trips to Napoli, Athens, etc.

Cheers.

I would so love to go to this city. very high on my list to a next travel destination. europe meets asia. ancient culture and tyrkish food is a favorite of mine at the moment. it looks sick in the atlantic drift videos for example.
