Stoked to see the Lakers get their shit together & play like a team. The hornets almost came thru with the upset but LA held it down. Kobe's killing it with his playmaking if they can hold on to this momentum & continue to play as a cohesive team they've got some hope to turn this season around.

Stoked on Portland's comeback tonight. Who would've thought Lamarcus Aldridge would've been the one to hit the clutch three at the end of the game?

The two pointer won the game, but I was talking about the shot before that was the 3 pointer to tie the game.

Attached is my sister and her coworkers with Portland rookie big men, Meyers Leonard and Joel Freeland.  I guess they enjoy the sushi at her restaurant because they're becoming regulars.

I'll be at the Mavs game tomorrow and Saturday, hopefully.

I really don't this Rudy Gay deal right now to sum it up to you guys here's a quick breakdown...

Our GM (Brian Colangelo) is a horrid general manager (drafted Andrea Bargnani 1st overall 1 playoff appearance under his watch in about 9 years signed Hedo Turkolgo to a massive contract ect ect I could go) So obviously this guy is on the hot seat he had 2 options develop our young core for the next few seasons and enter the lottery or make a "big time" trade in an attepmt to save his job.

Rudy Gay is an amazing talent don't get me wrong but he cannot lead a team so now we're stuck with another "franchise guy" that's not really a franchise guy for 3 years destined for at least 2 or 3+ of mediocrity unless something miraculous happens.

Now Toronto is stuck with all that pay roll and no cap room. On paper the deal sounds amazing, but Memphis saved their asses from luxury tax penalties. Detroit even did ok acquiring a passing PG with an expiring contract (Calderon). That leaves them with some cap after this season. Memphis instantly filled the void at the 3 spot with Tayshaun who is virtually the same player as Gay, obviously not as talented, but has been playing better basketball this season. AND a solid big man off the bench in Ed Davis. I think Toronto got the worst end of the stick no doubt.

Now I may be wrong just for the simple fact that I'm not really a fan of the team but I think Rudy gay was a great pick up for the raptors. They get some much needed star-power & a closer. That role may supposedly be bargnati's but dude is like a generic Kroger brand dirk nowitski I'd pick Gay to take over the 4th before him. Like I said I don't really follow the raptors but Calderon & some other guy for ruddy gay is a steal for them. The tandem of him & derozen will be deadly on the fastbreak

I guess we'll have to wait and see.... I'm still skeptical but I'm not going to lie I liked what saw tonight, I haven't seen the Raps play that good from tip off till the finals buzzer in years. Lowry Gay and Derozan is a lot to handle for any team. Still though seeing Memphis play OCK the other night really exposed they're lack of play making ability and is good as Rudy played in his debut the Clippers were without they're number one guy and floor general. I'll be able to make a real asessment come sunday vs the Heat.

Can't win, rockets so far made like 18 threes.

I'm going to the home game on the 12th. Home game against the rockets.

edit: 23 three pointers, crazy. tied the record.

Thank god Mark Jackson told the team to foul so they can't beat the record.  ;D

I was hoping for 1 more. I had them splitting the times they play each other in February, so I'm not feeling totally as good for the next meeting! haha Crazy game though, holy shit!

haha yeah, rockets scored 140 :o . Crazy Ejection at the end of the game, but yeah first quarter was close and high scoring. But after that Rockets took over.

Only highlight for me was the Curry half-court heave.
