"Veteran winning presence"? Sure, he's old, but none of his teams ever even made it past the first round of the playoffs (not that that makes him a bad player or anything). I think they just needed a body to fill out their rotations in case one of their role players gets injured; I guess you could do worse than a 7-time all-star scorer for that purpose.

And yes, the Lakers slim post-season chances have pretty much evaporated now that OKC has the #1 seed. At least coach Kobe won't have to suffer their incompetence for very long (probably 5 games max).
Popovic had no idea Tmac was coming in, all upper management hoopla. No surprise if he only plays garbage minutes or no minutes at all. Man san antonio got a old team, still gotta help em with tmac on the sidelines.

As for LA, they have a great shot at an upset now that kobe's gone, praying they don't play SAS, I have a bet with a friend SA wins it all

Props to Curry that's definitely a admirable record to break.

I had a feeling this Lakers/Houston game would go into overtime & that shot by Parsons almost didn't surprise me. Shit was hella clutch tho. Really great game so far feels like its already playoff time. Really want LA to win so they play the spurs & Harden against OKC

This guy is nails, GSW would be shit without him. Bucks got absolutely robbed getting that dickhead Monta Ellis, GS made the right choice

Handsome Chandlar Parsons three at the end of regulation had to be one of the luckiest shots of this entire season. Did no one see that shot? It was flatter than plywood, anti-clutch, with no arc. Disgusting really. Buckets is buckets I guess but had he been defended I could have devoted that overtime period to love making. Thanks Handsome Chandlar Parsons.

As much as I love the Lakers its gonna take everything they've got to have a chance at an upset. Dwight's gonna have to dominate defensively as well as capitalize on all his easy buckets as well as make free throws when needed. Gasol has to average close to a triple double & everybody else has to make their 3's and be locked in defensively. With Manu & Parker injured or not playing well they have a chance but like i said its gonna take an all-around A+ effort from LA. anything less & they'll get served.

Dwight won't get any easy baskets, he will live at the FT line

Pretty much agree with all of that except i think the clips are gonna beat memphis in 7 instead. With Chris Paul leading the way they just seemed primed for a strong championship run. Would not be surprised at all if they won the west.

As the board's resident clipper fan i'll be the first to tell you I want no part of Memphis. This clipper team is too streaky for comfort. I'm still not even sure what the rotation is going be nor do I think do they. There are so many flaws in their game. How many legit defenders does this team have? How many guys can hit a free throw when needed? How many legit big guys do they have to match the bigs of Memphis? How susceptible are they to the pass? The way Blake dunks he's just waiting for an injury happen, what do they do if he goes down? Ryan Hollis and Lamar Odom aren't the answer. Do these guys even want to play for VDN? Winning the WCF would only solidify his return barring they couldn't get Phil. Any one of these guys could take this because home court is not an issue. The clippers definitely have the best player on the court on the court in Chris Paul but they do not have the team better suited for playoff style basketball. In fact they have no identity. CP3 runs the show and everyone else falls in line. Memphis is full of grinders and if what they are saying is true and the chemistry of Paul, Griffin and Jordan is deteriorating then good night see you later if Memphis takes the series 3-2.

Paragraphs are paragraphs. Clippers OWN Memphis plain and simple. They are big vegas favorites despite Memphis having homecourt

Clips have homecourt and last I checked the series price was -145 which isn't a heavy favorite for having homecourt.

Regardless, NBA has the script that keeps atleas 1 LA team advancing past the 1st round. Besides that LAC has Chris paul, and 3 point shooting. Would say dunking but that's not a huge advantage

Good luck Mike Conley and gasol, these dudes are going ot get RAPED in clippland

not necessarily rooting for either team cuz i like em both but that last steal on Steph Curry was looking questionable. Seemed like Chandler was holding him for a second before & after lawson stripped it
